Trying to escape from my father and brother wasn't easy. My fathers the most feared Mafia leader in Poland after all. After all my 16 years of life I finally decided to run. Most of my life has been spent in my room, I never got to live like a normal child. I've never been to a beach or places like that, only in my room. I did have friends back in the house, four of them actually not including my brother. They were the daughters of our maids that lived in the house with us. It's not easy though, honestly I don't even know what love is, people from the Mafia are always so cold hearted. They don't trust anyone and if you look them in the eyes they'd probably have you killed.

As I run deeper into the forest the shouts of guards become distant as I carry on further, not caring if I scratch myself of the trees and bushes. I only care about my freedom at the moment. I carry on running until my legs won't let me run anymore. Walking on the side of a road I finally come across a town. I keep my head down not wanting anyone to see me since me and my family are very known here.

I decided to get out my dads credit card I stole and buy a bus ticket to the airport. I need to get as far away from this place as possible. Anywhere out of Poland would be great.

"Miss Legacy!" A voice booms as I see a group of my dads men across the silent street. I start running again as I run behind someone's car, holding my hand over my mouth so people can't hear my rapid breathing.

"Let's call boss and keep looking." One of the dads men says as their footsteps become silent.

I peek my head around the car and see the men walking off into the distance. I started running again and soon I disappeared from the town. When the sun started to rise I knew my legs couldn't go any further. I was by the side of a deserted road. I walked slowly until I came across a couple houses and shops. Someone could help me, since I wasn't in Poland anymore I could probably get away with people not knowing who I am. Even though my fathers men are probably not far from me.

I walked up to a house a knocked on the door until a women opened it and gasped at the sight of me before closing the door in my face. My eyes widen is I stare at the door in shock that the women could be so cruel, not that I wasn't used to it, I grew up surrounded by cruel people and monsters. I turn to walk away from the house and try another but I caught site of one of dads men. They were walking looking around, my eyes widened and I quickly hid behind the house, as I tried figuring out my next plan. Lights suddenly appeared from around the corner. I looked to my right and saw a black vehicle slowing come to a stop.

I saw a large man come out the car and walk down the path and into a corner shop. I made sure my fathers men weren't looking before I ran to to car and quickly tried to open it, when the door opened, tears came to my eyes in relief as I hopped into the back and hid myself so when the man returned he won't see me.

After about 20 minutes the man came back with another man and they sat in the front. The man started the car and we were off.

"Cole, we should be at the airport in about 2 hours and then we go back to Italy." The voice sounded Italian and made shivers run down my back. I was safe for now and that's all that mattered. An airport is exactly what I needed to get out of Europe.

"Thank god." I mumbled to myself as the man turned around, my eyes widen as the men heard me.

Marco's View.

As I pulled up the car and got out, Cole did the same. I saw a bit of dirty cloth on the floor of the car in the back and pulled on it. My eyes widen at the site.

A girl. Dirty and bruised with cuts on her body and a white dress with mud, dirt and blood all over it. I pulled her out the car and saw she was tiny compared to me and Cole. Tears started falling down her face as Cole made his way next to me.

"Who are you, and what are you doing in my car." I growled making the girl wriggle and shake in fear as I tightened the grip on her dress.

After she ignored me I took hold of her wrists as she whimpered in pain at how tight my hold is. I knew I could easy break her wrists with one move, and she knew that too.

"I'll ask you again. Who are you, and what are you doing in my car." I growled again making her flinch.

Something changed in me as I felt a pain in my stomach as she flinched in fear. I ignored it and kept my eyes on the girl.

"L-Legacy." She said simply as I took her face making her look up. Her green eyes where watering as I looked into them and saw pain, suffering, innocents and pure fear.

"Last name." Cole said as the girl looked to him and then back to the floor.

"Evens." She said lying. I looked at Cole and nodded. He opened the door as I pushed Legacy into the back of the car and got in after Cole.

"We need to go to the shop, she can't go to the airport looking like that." Cole said as I nodded and started the car.

After we started the car again we were off. The girl quickly fell asleep while curled up in a ball.

"She was lying." Cole said simply while looking at the kid.

"I know, once we get back to Italy we can find out who she is exactly. Get a jumper from the back and out it on her so she doesn't look as messy." I say pulling up to a gas station.

I went inside the place and got some food for the gurney and went back to the car and saw Legacy still sleeping in the back now wearing my jumper that went down to her low thigh. Her dirty blonde hair covering her face and bruises. She looked so innocent, so pure and simple, she didn't belong in this world, anyone could tell she would break completely even with one tiny crack.

She was like a little mouse compared to me. But somehow, she survived lying to me.

I will find out who this little girl is, piece by piece I'll uncover her, until there's nothing left of her.

Legacy's View.

As I woke up we where on a plane, I looked out the window and saw clouds and the now dark sky. I looked around the plane and saw I was on a private jet. One guy was on his laptop and the other guy that found me was sitting opposite me and looking at me with an amused look on his face and a smirk that could kill.

"Finally you woke up Little Mouse." He stood from his seat and came up to me. Why did he call me Little Mouse?

I wriggled in my seat as he put both his hands either side of my head and looked into my eyes.

"W-where are we going?" I asked looking down at my feet, I only now noticed I'm not wearing my ripped and dirty white dress but a hoodie that goes down to my low thigh.

"Italy." Was all he said while looking at me intensely.

"I'm Marco Romano, that's Cole. By the look on your face you know who I am?" Marco said. Yes, I knew who he was, he's the leader of the Italian Mafia, my fathers worst enemy.

I'm so glad I gave him a fake surname or I'd be dead by now, theirs no way he can know who I am.

If he finds out, I'm dead.
