The Mind of My Darkness

Seeking Life

I am a free bird
that soars through clouds with grace
and elegance
I watch the world go by with amusement
I seek adventure
the culture of my fellow species thrills me
mimicking their everyday life entices me
I desire knowledge
learning others way of life to compare
to my own

I look at my new friends
smiles ad laughter surround me like a
fluffy cloud
I am happy
listening to the foreign music fills
my soul
I have been everywhere
my eyes have seen the farthest reaches
of the world
I have witnessed happiness where it is
not expected

My most desired dreams were turned to reality
the voices I have heard evaporate
my life is now a life
I wake up from my deep slumber
it was all a lie
my mind left my body and traveled
the sphere we call Earth
I smile
I know no moment existed
but I experienced many things
