Liza's POV ;

As me and David made it way through the crowd Gabbie rushed up to me " The party's ending , you ready to go ?" She asks as she moves her eyes from me to David then back to me . " um yeah sure " I say . We make our way outside to get into Gabbie car when I remembered I had David's jacket . " Oh here David " I say and he turns to me . I take the jacket off and hand it to him " I had fun tonight " I say to brake the little awkward silence " me too ." He says with a smile . I smile back and I look down to my feet " bye " I say as I turn off and walk to Gabbie's car . As I get in the passenger seat I realize he didn't say bye back . I blew it off knowing that he probably didn't find me attractive .

The next morning

I woke up to silence . Weird , I have two kids , a crazy ass roommate , my sister is here and her two kids . I get out of bed and I look at my clock . It reads 11:45am . I slept in late ! I walk into the room that Milo and Nicolette share . Beds made and everything . I then go downstairs to find a note on the counter

" figured you had a little to much fun last night . So I took the twins to the park . Gabbie's with that guy Zane I think ? Call if you need anything ~Liv"

I smiled at the note as memories from last night came back into my mind . David . Me and him kissed last night . Where's the gravel from the roof ? I scurried upstairs and into my room. I went to find my shorts and I checked the pockets . They weren't in there . I turn my head to my memory box that's on my dresser . It's gotta be in there . I walk to it and slowly open the box . There in the corner was the gravel from on top of Brennens roof . Relief went over my body as I saw them . I gently closed the box back up and I made my bed.

" Liza ? I'm home " I hear Gabbie say . I walked down stairs to see Gabbie " we need to talk " she says . She pulls my to the sofa where we sit " What's up?" I asked" YouDidntTellMeYouAndDavidKissed!" She says all at once " wait ! How the hell did you find out ?" I asked " David told me , do you like him ?" She asked " I don't know . We just met " I say while looking down " You do like me , you make that face when you lie Elizabeth " she says and I turn to face her " I don't know Gabbie we literally just met " I say sad like . " what's wrong ?" She asked while placing her left hand on my right shoulder . " nothing . It's just I don't think I want a relationship. I have Milo and Nicolette to worry about . And I don't want another Wren " I say and she nods " Wren is and will always be a dick . He doesn't want to be in their lives but I know David would be " she says " he doesn't know ?" I instantly ask "About the twins ? No " she reply " Please don't tell him . I don't want him to know . What happened between us just happened . Nothing big okay ?" I ask and she nods " okay okay " she reply's as she hugs me .

David's POV ;
Last night was something different . No she was something different . I swear I've never been or met someone like her . I was with Jason today finishing up out podcast for tomorrow. I guess he realized I wasn't focused when he said " Watcha thinking about ?" He asks me . I look up to him and then back out of my window ." Her " I reply . I can tell that he's probably looking a little confused right now ." Who Liza ?" He asks and I give him a small nod " just call her man geez " he tells me " that's the thing I don't have her number " I tell him " Gabbie,duh" he says . I quickly call Gabbie

Gabbie ; hello ?
David ; hey Gabbie !
Gabbie ; ugh what do you want ?
David ; shit , how'd you know I want something ?
Gabbie ; because I know you to well duh, but spill it
David ; fine . Will you um give me you know Liza's number ?
Gabbie ; sorry David I just can't
David ; what why ?
Gabbie ; um she's busy
David ; for real
Gabbie ; I really can't say . I'm sorry Dobrik . I really gotta go bye

The call then ends . Why can't she give me Liza number ? I then get a text from Brennen

" Hey dude , I felt like you and Liza were close last night . And if you forgot to get her # here it is
( Liza's phone number )"

It's like a miracle from heaven. He just so happened to text me right then right now . I thanked him and I texted her

Liza's POV ;

It had been awhile  and Olivia brought back Milo and Cole . I was playing with them in their room when I get a text

" Hey it's David from Brennen's party"

"Gabrielle Jeanette Hanna !" I yell some what quieter and she walks in . I show her my phone
"It wasn't me !" She says while holding up her hands in the air . " Then who was it ?" I ask . We had a whole investigation happening . It wasn't any of our close friends . Gabbie was still texting someone when her phone went off . I faced her and she faces me " It was Brennen " she says . I quickly call him .

Liza:Brennen you gave David my number ?!
Brennen ; yeah why ?
Liza ; I don't want him to know anything okay ? Like involving Milo and Nicolette
Brennen; oh my god I totally forgot . I'm sorry . I didn't tell him about the twins though
Liza ; thank you for that . If he ask why I don't text him back don't say anything
Brennen ; you got my word
