— hey y'all okie so this is a Gerard Way love story. woOp umM I know in the description thingy I said this is present day. i mean it is set in present day but i'm gonna make Gerard 32 instead of 41. "NO NO no why can't I just play the god damn chord right!" I scolded myself.
   i need to upload this today it's Tuesday. i propped the camera back up again to get ready to play the song again.  hello! my names Roslyn. Roslyn Smith. i am hopelessly devoted to music. playing and listening. i have a lot of favorite bands but i have to say one of my favorite is a band called My Chemical Romance.
   Their songs are so poetic and beautiful especially on the album The Black Parade. right now i'm trying to post a cover of "The End" which is kind of an interlude but it's still so beautiful not to cover. i pressed record and sang and felt i made no flaw whatsoever. i watched it back and loved how i sounded so i edited it and uploaded it.

  i really haven't been on YouTube much lately. i mean when i am but i haven't checked the likes and comments on my latest cover. i have a small audience. i wouldn't be surprised if i had 100 likes and 13 comments.

     i have 38k views, 12,000 likes, and 1.9k comments. holy shit. i also gained about 450 subscribers! WOOHOO!!! i read some of the comments. most were nice, some were mean but I didn't mind

  i'm so filled with joy right now. i posted on my Snapchat and Instagram with a cute picture of me saying thanks for all the love and support especially on my latest cover. there most be a lot of people who love My Chem. What if the video gets so popular that Ray? Mikey? Frank? Bob? Or even GERARD my favorite member sees! PPPH YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING YOURSELF ROSLYN they WOULD NEVER LAY EYES OR feel the need to watch the video of your stupid cover.

  Gerard's POV

  i was working on an issue of shade and the changing woman when my manager and music producer bursted through the door.
"what do you need?" i said rather quietly.
  " since you are done with your album. and it's going to be released in about a months time. you need to find an opener for your tour." my manager said.
    " brian. there are no good modern rock acts around anymore. i don't know what to do.." I said lethargically.
     " just do some research. it's what— eleven now i'll be back by three. i need an opener by then Gerard." my producer said anxiously.
      I researched "modern rock bands" and i saw some names that really caught my eye. i have listened to about 14 bands and they all sound have the same generic sound. it was now about one forty-five and i still haven't found an appealing band or artist.
     my producer then burst through the door for the second time. i rolled my eyes while sipping my coffee.
      "what is it now Justin?" i yelled.
      He had his MacBook in his hands and he was bursting with energy
       " Gee, Gee, Gee there's this this this—!" Justin yelled with happiness.
       " spit it out Justin!" i screamed.
        "well, there's this girl. she umm covered one of My Chemical Romance's songs." he said calmly.
          " and your point is?" i questioned.
           " i thought that maybe she could be your opener, the video was in my recommended on YouTube and I had to watch because i was curious. Her range and tone are magnificent and i think she could be a great asset to the tour!" he exclaimed.
            "Let's see then." i said annoyed.
             honestly i'm gonna be very pissed at Justin if this another mediocre cover. no offense to my fans at all it's just some people's covers are way too overboard.
            she started strumming. i could already tell it was "The End" it was basically an interlude into "Dead!" but I thought the song itself was a perfect fit.

           i'm intrigued. stunned. this girl has an amazing vocal range and tone. she has a unique tone in her voice that makes the song worthwhile. i sat up intently watching this girl strumming away and singing with beautiful pitch. i then closed my eyes and listened to the angelic voice.

      i then knew. she was the one. all along. she's going to be my opener. i need her. she needs to be noticed.
       "GERARD!" Justin screamed.
        "Wha— WHAT?" i said
         " So, what did you think?" he asked
          " She's kickass Justin. we're for sure bringing her on the tour. thanks for finding that video dude." i said happily.
           " That's great! Management will be very happy especially since you picked someone earlier then expected. umm, the only problem is i don't think she writes original songs i'm pretty sure she only does covers..." Justin said.
             " I don't give a fuck what kind of songs she sings. i want her. i need her. what is her name?" i asked
             " Roslyn Smith." Justin said looking up from his computer.
             " Roslyn. Roslyn Smith. hmm i'll keep that name in mind." i said while smiling like an idiot.
