Liam brought you home and stayed with you the whole night. He said he didn’t want to leave you alone even though your grandma was there, but she didn’t know what was going on. You stayed in Liam’s arms the whole night. A week later, you started to come back to reality. You still stayed in bed the whole day but at least you didn’t cry as much. One day you get a call from a nurse saying that you have to pick up some of your brother’s belongings. When you get to the hospital, they give you a box. You take it home and find Liam waiting for you at your door. You walk up to him put the box down, give him a hug and passionately kiss him. “It would’ve been so hard making it through this week without you.” He smiles, “I would do anything for you.” You remember that you have to open your brother’s box. When you open it, you find a notebook. The open it a see that the first page is from the day he found out he had cancer. You read some pages already crying. “What’s wrong?” Liam asks. You hand Liam the notebook. As he reads, his eyes start to water. Then Liam goes to the last few pages and his eyes widen. “What?” You get the book and read. Your heart drops when you read:
I want to tell (Y/N) but I don’t want to hurt her. I’m going to die in 2 weeks. I have to make sure that before I die, she has someone in her life that will take care of her and love her.
He knew he was gonna die all along. You flip a few pages and read:
