EJ's has worked to get his echolocation as subtle as possible. He mostly just wears shoes that make a fairly loud sound when you take step - which works perfectly fine in the mansion on the varnished wooden floors. Areas with soft ground pose a bit more if a problem, so sometimes he'll either deliberately step on sticks or tap walls as he walks.
