Here I am. 1st game.
Kinkabahan, excited, masaya, malungkot. All of those are what I feel now. Its my debut game against UST.
I have to make a blast. Or else, Di ako magiging regular.
"Girl, kalma, ok?" Sabi ni ate Jho.
Yes mama.
Nagsimula na ang warm up. As usual, the habulan warm up ang ginawa namin. Let go of stress muna, sabi ni coach.
The crowd was cheering, yelling and laughing kasi ang Kulit namin ni Jules at Ponggay. The ISKWADDD.
We became close kasi they have cars, while I don't have one kaya lagi nila akong sinasabay kahit saan. Tinour din nila ako sa buong campus, as in isang araw and buong campus. And in return, nilibre ko ang buong Team ng Korean BBQ my favoriteeee.
Pinapakilala na ang players/ starters.

Yes ate Kat is not present. She's still suffering from the injury she had while training. Kaya Di kami nag eexpect ng magandang play kasi wala ang isa sa magagalit, its the first game so its ok.
Konti lang ang nakaka recognize sakin, atsyaka UST ang kalaban namin.
The Set 1 starts. Si Dani muna ang nasa court at ako ang nasa bench.
As expected from Ust, they got the first point.
Nang makapasok na ako sa court. Di ko ma explain yung feeling, masaya na nakakakaba.
Nung nag serve na ang Ust, ako ang nag receive kasi I'm at the back row, alone. Nang sinet ni Deanna, sinabi ko na agad na akin.
Timing, Power, persistence.
I can do it.
And from the back row, lumipad ako (wew Di literal) to aim for 'the kill'.
Ust - 1
Ateneo - 1
"Galing galing bebe gurl namin!" Sabi ni ate Bea.
"Mana mana lang, bei" Sabi ni ate Jho habang Natawa.
I love this fam.
But the battle just starts now.

Ricci Rivero's POV
May rookie ata ang Lady eagles, maganda naman sya--- wait si Reese yun diba?
"Prince, yun ba yung sibasabing rookie ni Marco?"
"Oo sya nga. Ganda no?"
Ewan ko sayo ahia.
Nakakatawa yung kakulitan nila ni Jules at Ponggay.
Ang ganda nya, she looks cool, and pretty at the same time.
Ano ba yan cci? First time mo lang makita eh.
Hays.
The game started na, she was part of the starters. I guess magaling nga talaga sya.
Oyy! Di ko sya stinalk ah, investigate lang.. Hihi.
Ust got the 1st point.
Makakahabol kaya ang Ateneo----
"Velasco from the backrow! What a beautiful player we have here." Sabi ng commentator.
Malapit lang kami sa commentator, kaya rinig na rinig sila.
"Uyy Cci, galing pala ni Ms. Stranger eh." Sabi ni Brent.
Ms. Stranger? Wth.
Oo magaling nga sya.
"Oo nga eh" Sabi ko.

3rd P POV
the game ended, at panalo ang Ateneo. POG si Reese na may 22 points. Madami ang nagpa picture sakanya, kasama na dun si Brent at Prince, at syempre si Ricci.

Reese ' POV
"Uhm Hi, pwede mag Papicture?"
Lumingon ako para tignan kung sino yun.
OMG SI Brent Paraiso!
But u have to keep ur calm girl.
"Ay opo."
Then we had a picture.
With Prince and... Ricci
Ang pogi nya pala talaga sa personal.
Ano ba yan, Reese?
"Uhm, I'm Brent, he's Prince and this guy is ricci." Sabi ni Brent.
"Nice to meet you, Brent, Prince and Ricci." Sabi ko.
"Uhm Reese, may sugat ka sa kamay mo, na dugo" Sabi ni Prince.
Oh sht.
"Ayy thanks sa pag sabi, mauna na ko---".
"Here." Sabi ni ricci, may inabot syang panyo.
"Ayy wag na." Sabi ko.
"Hindi na, Mas kailangan mo yan." Sabi nya, while reaching out for my hand.
Dugdug Dugdug.
"O-oh...kay" Sabi ko, in a awkward tone.
"Uyy iba pag Rivero" Sabi ni Brent.
Iba talaga.
