Griffin Academy - The Phoenix Flame (W.I.P)

The Beginning

Hey guys! So... the chapter didn't save... soooooo...😅 I just restarted it, but it will be longer and better. 🤗

"Please pack up, the bell is abo-"

RING, RING!

"YAHOO!" A girl exclaimed as she jumped out of the classroom door. "WEEKENDS HERE I COME!" 

"Wait for us, Iris!" Another girl came out of the classroom, her hand on a single backpack strap. "Sorry, I had to give Melody's pencil back."

"EVA! YOU BROKE IT!" A distant scream would be heard from the classroom. Iris chuckled in the background.

"It's your fault for giving me the bad one..." Eva mumbled under her breath.

"What did you say?" Melody said as she peeked out the door.

"Erm... Nothing..."

Iris pulled out her phone, she looked like she was scrolling down on Texter or a messenger app or something. "Do you remember where we were supposed to meet them?"

"Them?" Melody asked, "You mean Lauren and London?"

"Yes, them, who else I would be talking about?"

"Um... Marcus... Gilly..." Eva listed,

"They don't even have phones!"

"So?" They both said.

Iris sighed in defeat, "They said to meet at the entrance of the Girl's Dormitory."

"Aren't we not supposed to be there?" Melody questioned, 

"Well, they said they asked already," Iris said as she twirled a pencil in her hand.

Eva said, "Ok. So...what are we waiting for?"

Eva and Iris started walking towards the gate, the crowd was so big, it was like hungry hippos trying to get to their lunch.

"WAIT! DON'T GO THERE! LET'S GO HERE!" Melody pointed at another door, "It's quicker and easier with less traffic."

"I never knew that even existed..." Iris said, glancing at Eva.

"What?" Eva said, looking back up,

"You go first since you know, you're the smallest one..."

Eva made a face at Iris, then walked towards the exit.

Meanwhile at the Girl's Dormitory...

"Uuuuuuuuuggggggghhhhhhhhhhh..." London groaned, putting her head down on her homework on her lap.

"What's wrong?" Lauren said as she sat down next to her on the couch.

"It's the project due on Monday," she sat up straight, "I need to finish it!"

"Wait," Lauren said, "Is it the diorama that you made in the room?"

"Yeah, but I still have to finish this paper..." London said as she wrote a sentence down.

"Aw, sucks to be you."

"Did you even finish your book report yet?"

"Um... No..?"

"Well... Did you start on it yet..?"

Lauren laughed nervously, "Totally..."

London sighed, "As expected from you, I could help you finish it you know."

"Naw, I don't need any help." Lauren rejected.

"Is it about powerpoints?" 

"Yeah, I'm good with those."

This school is called Griffin Academy, it is ranked the 4th best school in the world. Currently, Iris, Eva, and Melody are in their freshmen year. Lauren is in her sophomore year, and London is in her junior year. It's located in Lochbell city, a city famous for its education and myths.

"When are they coming?" London said, impatiently.

"Be quiet, school just got out, so I'm pretty sure they're taking their time." Lauren put her hands over her head, putting her feet up on the table. She looked over to London's papers. It was a WHOLE PACKET! "Um, London? Are you sure you're going to finish that?"

"Mhm, well, I'll try to anyways." London sighed as she started writing again, "I have to finish this page before they get here."

Lauren yawned as she went to a laying down position, sliding her phone out of her pocket. A message popped up, saying:

Iris: Sorry for not being there, some... unexpected problems came up...

Lauren: Um.. Ok...

Iris: 😜

Lauren sighed, "I swear, if she got stuck in the bathroom again..."

"What did you say?" London looked up from the paper,

"Iris is just taking forever..." Lauren said, looking back at her phone. "Are you sure you don't need any help?"

"Yeah, I've got this."

A few minutes pass by, Lauren was sleeping and London was finishing up her homework.

"Hey guys!" A voice came from the entrance.

"Oh, you're finally here!" London said as she closed her binder, putting back all her stuff in her bag. She got up and kicked Lauren in the side.

"Huuuuh?" She slowly opened her eyes,

"They're here." London said as Iris, Eva, and Melody waved.

"Ooooooh... Finally!" Lauren said, jumping up from the couch, she grabbed something in her pocket and she tossed it to London. "Let's go get some Boba!"
