Read A/N at the end, thank you!

Within the midst of her midnight highs,
Were her lonely brightest of days.

She had everyone and everything around her,
but she wasn't sure of what she
wanted.

Did she want their comfort?
Or did she want their abandonment?

Did she want to be lonely?
And risk not having anything
when the numbness begins fading and Feelings invade, in battalions.

Or did she want to be overwhelmed in those feelings?
Only to drown.
And because drowning to her,
is the ideal instance of ecstasy.

There you have it, Drown Down Highs. Do pardon my language and poetry skills because really, I am no literature student, neither am I the best poet. I don't aspire to be one, but I do wish to inspire.
I hope you have a good day:)
Don't forget to smile

If you didn't understand:
This poetry is about feeling alone yet wanting to be lonely.

This are little whats or whys of the poem I create, and I will try doing for every one. Because some poems are a little more personal or a slight bit more difficult to understand. You can choose to read them for understanding or not:)
