"Everyone! Morning homeroom's about to begin. To your seats!" He yelled.

"We're sitting. You're the only one up." Sero deadpanned, to which the boy in glasses flinched and hurried back to his chair in shame. As soon as he did, the door swung open and a scruffy looking man covered in bandages walked in. You recognised him as Eraserhead from the USJ attack and felt that same feeling of guilt begin to swirl around in your gut.

"Morning," he greeted casually.

"You're back already, Aizawa-sensei?!" A few people shouted out, someone commenting about what an undeniable pro he was as he made his way over to the podium by the chalkboard.

"Glad to see you doing well, sensei!" Glasses-guy called out again, shooting his hand up.

"If you can call that 'doing well'..."

"My welfare isn't important," Aizawa grumbled. "I'm sure you've all noticed your new classmate. I know you all have your differences, but Nedzu has given explicit instructions to make him and the others with him feel as welcome as possible." A few people turned to look at you, and all you could offer was a meek wave. "But more importantly, your fight is far from over..." He muttered out ominously.

Oh god, what now? A few people started muttering amongst themselves as to what he could be talking about, one of the guys on your column started having some sort of nervous breakdown about villains.

"Yuuei's sports festival is fast approaching!"

"That's so totally ordinary!!" Someone wailed. You couldn't help but agree- it just seemed too good to be true. Maybe it was because you'd gotten used to being suspicious about every good opportunity, but you couldn't help but feel this 'sports festival' wasn't as innocent as your classmates thought it was.

"Come on! We just had that villain attack. You sure about this?!" You weren't exactly concerned about that one. You were essentially a villain up until yesterday, you were more than sure you could take on a villain attack with you at the receiving end for once.

"It's necessary. To demonstrate that Yuuei's crisis management protocols are sound... That's the thinking, apparently. Compared to past years, there'll be five times the police presence. Anyhow, our sports festival is... The greatest opportunity you'll get. It's not an event that can be cancelled over a few villains." The longer Aizawa spoke, the more nervous you could see the boy two seats in front of you was getting. Was he even a high-schooler? He looked way too young.

"You sure about that...?" He quivered out, before the boy in front of him snapped his head round in shock.

"Mineta... Are you telling me you've never seen Yuuei's sports festival?!"

"Of course I have. That's not what I mean..." You were growing more confused by the minute. You didn't know what a sports festival was in the first place, was it some kind of national event?

"I don't think the new boy would have, right?" A girl with green hair commented, turning to face you and cocking her head in a questioning manner. 'That was blunt...' You thought, shaking your head at her to clarify that you, indeed, had no idea what everyone was talking about.

"Woah, seriously? How?!" The same boy from before asked, to which you shrugged. "But it's huge in Japan! You'd have to be living under a rock to miss it!"

"I wasn't living in Japan until about a week ago." You said. The boy made an 'o' shape with his mouth and nodded.

"Our sports festival is one of Japan's biggest events," Aizawa looked towards you and confirmed what the green-haired boy was saying. "The olympics were once the world's sports festival. The whole country would be whipped into a frenzy over them. But as you know, that tradition has shrunk in scale to a shell of its former self." You'd heard of the olympics- it was pretty big before quirks started popping up, but people quickly got bored of the games once they realised they could go and watch a hero beating up a villain or something of the like for better entertainment. "And as far as Japan's concerned, what's taken the place of the olympics is the Yuuei sports festival!" You nodded in understanding- so it was an event similar to the olympics, except you assumed you'd be using your quirks.
