The Diary Of April Montenegro

Introduction:

I was a lonely child. Although loneliness made me strong and independent. Never had a father figure and my mother was either working or spending her money on her addiction to alcohol. Her and I almost never talked and if we did, we would always end up arguing.

In school? Well lets just say im not the most popular, I'm probably the most invisible. My beauty doesn't extacly stand out like them other girls, with their expensive clothes and fancy cars. That didn't matter to me thought, as a matter of fact I could care less about that kind of stuff. Why? Well because I had someone special to look after, someone who cares and loves me for who I am and that's all that mattered.

His name, Robert. I've known him for most of my life, we went to elementary school together and became real close friends. We would always watch out for one another and had each others backs for whatever reason. By the time we were in middle school we started going out and not too long after that, we became an official couple. We've been together ever since. Now we are in our Junior Year of High School and I couldn't be happier. Recently we have been talking about marriage and about spending the rest of our lives together after graduating High School. I am proud to say that I am deeply in love with him, nothing could ruin how happy he makes me. I'm ready to spend every second of my life by his side.

This diary was the last gift I got from my mother. Today, November 29th, I turn 17 and to be honest I'm not expecting anything at all from her. I haven't expected anything for the past 5 years.

Thanks to this diary I can keep all my personal thoughts, feelings and my most desired wishes away from the world. If they were ever to be read it would kill me, physically, emotionally and mentally. That is why they must be sealed forever.
