Light Wolf

Prologue

Thunder was booming. I could feel the ground shake under my paws. I looked up and saw the large dark clouds crackling with lightning. Thunder rumbled again and I felt a drop against my white fur and I closed my eyes as more drops started to fall in my eyes. I shook my fur and continued to walk through the forest. I wasn't worried about the storm that was seemingly following me back to the pack house.

As I was walking I admired the wet greenery that seemed to shine in happiness. I approached a clearing and just kept walking. While I was walking my father's warning never crossed my mind. The clearing was fairly large and just as I reached what seemed to be the center I heard a large surge of electricity. Stupidly, I looked up just as a bolt of lightning crashed down from the sky and hit me in the face.

I flew back, my fur crackling with electricity. I shakily stood up and remembered my fathers warning. Never walk through an open field when lightning is present.

I shook my head. I was lucky that I was a werewolf or I would be dead.

'Thank the goddess that i'm ok' I thought. With my fur still crackling with energy I shakily started to walk towards the forest. And towards safety. But yet again I heard the surge and my eyes widened. I started to run as fast as I could but my legs were still sore from the last bolt and I didn't know if I could survive another.

I was a few feet from the edge when I stumbled. It was then that I realized that nature hated me. The sky took its chance and I was struck again. I hit a tree and lay there as darkness came to greet me with open arms. I accepted its embrace and relaxed.

So what say you? BTW the exclamation points in any chapter are authors notes. Im trying to keep those to a minimum. Anyways, sorry its short but I really got to be better at that so sorry. Ill try to update as much as possible. So uh,
