This was all too strange for Juliana. Obviously he was mad! She turned to leave. A bleached olive-toned hand grabbed her wrist. "Don't leave just yet! You asked me and I revealed to you the information that you requested."

"Well excuse me for becoming a little unsettled by your words! Until today I didn't even know that you existed and now you're telling this!"

"You asked me. " he replied matter-of-factly.

"I suppose I did." She sighed. "Can you come out and just let me see you?" she coaxed. The light from the torch flickered as he moved closer to her. The hand grasping her became an eerily pale arm and then a slim yet oddly muscular body stepped into the pool of light. Juliana gasped as her eyes snapped to his face. A head of disheveled black hair fell into a pair of electric blue eyes . An aristocractically straight nose flanked by sharp cheekbones rested above full lips. A muscle twitched in nervous anticipation in his strong jaw. He had an olive complexion that was an unnatural sun deprived paleness. But what had pushed the breath right from her lungs and sent her heart hammering was the small scar in the shape of a sickle on the right side of his neck. She instinctively covered her neck were the same scar rested.

"I see you noticed our similarity."

"How did you get that scar?" Juliana whispered.

"I'm afraid that it is too soon into our acquaintance to be delving into such a hopeless matter. Though I must commend you. You usually run away the first time you see me. Bravo!"

"Why would I run? It's not as if you are horrendous!" Juliana exclaimed. Her exclamation was followed by a blush after she realized how forward she had just been.

"So you find me handsome do you? Well that's interesting." A cocky smile lit up his classically handsome features.

"I do believe handsome is a far cry from my statement. I merely said that you are not horrendous." An exasperated Juliana declared.

"JULIANA! JULIANA! Where are you?!" A distant voice called.

"Oh No! It must be near dinner time and I cannot be caught here! Nonna will have my head!" Juliana fumbled in her dress for the key to the door, dropping her torch in the process. The small room went dark.

" Here let me help you." William's warm hand guided her to the door. "Will you come back?"

"Possibly." And with that she pushed open the door and stumbled into the moon lit garden.
