"That's not an acceptable answer!" I yelled.
He chuckled, "Alright, I just wanted to see how you would react. I was the one responsible for putting you in the Game after all, and made sure you survive. You were quite a brave young lass, my dear."
"What? You... Killed me!?"
"Correct again."
"How... Could you!" I gritted my teeth and clenched my fists. "How could you put me in your dirty game!?"
"Well, you made me curious."
"Curious about what?"
"You've been watching me secretly for so long, have you not? Lucky me, I've got myself a beautiful stalker. You didn't think I noticed, did you? I thought by now you would have known me well. I gave out pretty decent information about myself." Joshua playfully stroked my hair.
I stopped for a moment, my heart was racing again, "I..."
"You made me so curious, I thought I might have a little fun with you so I put you in the Game." I could just wipe the smirk off his face, I wanted to slap him.
He leaned forward then held my chin up again, "What do you say, my dear. Care to be in my Game again? You'll never know, it might be fun."
"I don't want to be in your cruel game anymore!" And before I knew it, tears started to stream down my cheeks.
"Oh, it's a different kind of game. Just you and me that I know you'll surely enjoy." he looked as if he wanted to eat me.
I grabbed a few Psyche pins from my pocket. I didn't know why I still had them, would they work?
"You won't need those silly pins anymore." he touched my cheek with his cold hand then wiped the tears from my eyes.
I gulped, "What do you mean?" Is he going to kill me?
I braced myself for any pain but nothing happened, instead I felt his soft lips touch my neck. My eyes widened in shock; is this real? I made a sudden movement but he held my shoulders. "Your skin is savory." he said as he licks it, sending short moans out of my mouth.
Joshua then started teasing my jaw, nibbling and kissing it up to my cheek. I was lost in the sparks of pleasure he was giving me. My eyes slowly close and my whole body feels hotter.
"Am I pleasing you?" he whispered in my ear. I answer by nodding once. How could I even answer that?
"Good girl." he said as he nibble my ear. Again, a moan came out of my mouth.
It wasn't long until he stopped then held my face again. He touched my lips before pressing his own on it.
He started moving his lips. My eyes remained closed and my lips started moving aswell.
I felt his and press against the wall behind me, cornering me so I couldn't escape. My body started moving on its own and I just went with it, I wrapped my arms around his neck, enjoying the soft touch of his lips.
He licked my lips, signaling me that he wanted to enter so I opened my mouth a little bit. He started battling his tongue against mine. I felt my brain go blank, I always dreamed of this to happen but never expecting it to.
He pulled back sooner than what I thought and I started panting, my face remained scarlet.
"Well that was exquisite." he chuckled before turning around.
I stepped forward, "Wait--"
Joshua glanced at me with a smile, "Until we meet again."
I stood awestruck when I saw wings appeared on his back. He glanced at me one more time then waved before kicking from the ground and started flying off to the blue sky.
He was more than a prince, he has the appearance of an angel.
I watched him go, "Yeah, until we meet again." I touched my lips then my chest. "I love you, Joshua." I mumbled as I walk the busy streets of Shibuya again.
I'm looking forward to the day we cross paths again, Yoshiya 'Joshua' Kiryu. I was glad to be in your Reaper's Game.
***
A month have passed and I never saw Joshua again, I was walking down to 104 Building to buy some new clothes until someone hugged me from behind.
"Guess who!?"
I turned to see my Game partner alive and well.
"No way? So you won the Game again?" I asked.
"Of course, what do you expect?" she giggled cockily.
I gave her a big hug, "I missed you so much!" I cried, warm tears started to run down my face.
We went in the building as we talked. Her wedding's going to be held within a month and she said I was one of the bride's maids. I was so happy! We ate lunch together and talked about our adventures during the game and other stuff.
"So how are you and your Joshua doing?"
I looked down and told her every single thing, how he was the Composer and even our special moment and also, how I never saw him again after that.
"That's sad." she touched my hand.
"That's life."
The entire day had gone by and my Game partner and I parted ways but we'll be seeing each other again soon.
It was twilight, and I'm making my way home to my apartment and from my peripheral view, I saw a familiar figure with wings from top of the pole. I wanted to believe it was him but I didn't want to get my hopes up.
I continued to walk and just ignored what I thought I saw but a warm hug from behind stopped me. I touched the arm around me as I smile. I shivered as warm breath touch my ear.
"Miss me, my dear?'
