Everybody has a story. Whether it's the fact that their parents are dead or their from another universe, in my case, an Alien. A lot of people know me as Marley Rose. The shy, loving, sweet new girl, but what people don't know, what I refuse to tell them is that my name is Kara Zor-El and apart from my cousin I am the last of my kind. My cousin and I are the last of the Kryptonians. When I was a little girl my planet was dying, my mother and father desperate to save me sent me to a planet called Earth along with a mission, I am to protect my cousin Kal-El at all cost, but as I was leaving my home my pod got knocked off course by Krypton's explosion and got sent into the phantom zone. I was asleep for 24 years where I was suspended in time and not aging. When I finally landed on Earth my cousin had already grown up and become Superman.
I have started a new school this year called McKinley high school. I decided this year I was going to stick to myself, no point in making a spectacle of myself. It wasn't until my adopted brother Barry convinced me to join the glee club that I realized in the world there are two types of people one, who will judge you, mock you and bully you for who you are, or people who will accept you with open arms and will help you embrace yourself and will tell you your flaws are what make you who you are.
My adoptive brother Barry isn't actually adopted, see I was bullied pretty badly at my school after my friend Kenny died so my mother thought it would be best for me to come to stay with dads step sister in Ohio. You see my dad worked for the government and one day he just disappeared, ever since then his step-sister Natalia Smythe has always said even though we're not related by blood, we were family, and if we ever needed anything all we had to do was ask. Auntie Nat is married to Allen Smythe whose prowess in the courtroom is unparalleled making him a very wealthy man, last year he also adopted his sister's son Bartholomew Allen but he hates his name so he tells people to call him Barry or when anybody other than families around, it's Sebastian. Barry's story is very complicated, when he was 11 his mother was murdered and on the night of her murder he claims that he saw Yellow and Red lightning in his house and that in the lightning he saw a man, he calls him the man in yellow. He said that he was whisked away from his house in mere seconds and by the time it took him to run the 20 blocks back to his home, the police had arrived, but instead of finding the man in yellow, they found Henry Allen standing over his wife's body, his hands covered in blood. He watched his father get taken away by the police and when he went inside he saw his mother's corpse on the living room rug. His best friends father, Joe took him in and he lived with him and Iris for a couple of years but because of his mothers' murder and the fact that he was so intelligent that he skipped 2 grades, he was the perfect target for bullying, I mean I had people call me names and shove me but for Barry, he was constantly physically and verbally abused by these bullies who felt it was okay, fun even, to torment Barry with his Mothers murder and his dads' conviction and when he was found outside Jitters stuffed in the trash because he was beaten so badly that the bullies thought he was dead, Uncle Allen had enough so he demanded Barry come live with them for the remaining of his schooling education. Technically he's a junior now but he's only 15 I'm a year older than him.
After Barry was officially adopted by his uncle he took the name of Sebastian Smythe. At the age of 13, his uncle feeling Barry had tremendous potential in the arts, called one of his old classmates from when he was only a few years older than us and got Barry into Julliard where he studied for half a year under special circumstances, he led his dance group and performing group to an international win at just 14 while taking a "holiday in Paris" and then he came to Ohio with his uncle and aunt and started attending Dalton, where he acted like your typical spoilt, cocky, rich boy, he even pretended to be gay since apparently, it's no fun to go to an all-guys school and be straight. He's actually the sweetest, kindest guy you'll ever meet nonetheless if you annoy him or hurt any of his friends or family, let's just say I've seen him make grown men cry.
