Anger is like a headache; it can't go away easily. In the heat of the moment you might not even want it to leave. You might want to let everyone know you're angry. You want to hit something or yell, scream or swear. It is not something a simple thought can erase.

'Do something else' - It is a good idea but at the time it just enrages you that someone is telling you what to do.

'Breathe' - You can't think straight. How can you breathe in that frame of mind? It seems impossible.

'Calm down' - You find it hard not to punch the person who says this.

Gets angry back at you - A horrible decision, really. You are becoming one of the worst people in the world at that moment.

Speaks to you in an angry tone of voice - 'You're being a bit of a hypocrite, aren't you?'

-----------------------------------------------------

Gives you a cat - You love them forever.

Talks about the situation calmly - You want to hug them.

Leaves you alone - You can know a smart person when you see one.

Gives you a solution to the problem - You have been given a rare blessing.
