Cheaters Never Prosper (pt.3)

Start from the beginning

“Damn, dude. What about Nique?” Trey asks.

Ray sighs. “I can’t hurt her, man. I think I love her. But, having the other two girls who I fell in love with at school is too much. Add Domi to that…I can’t handle it. I almost had a fxcking panic attack seeing them.”

The hell was going on? I was gonna find out. I pushed the door.

“Domi? What are you doing here?” Ray asks. He had been pacing, but he’d stopped to look at me.

“Ty told me you went home early. I just thought I’d come see if everything’s okay.” I said.

 “Yeah, I’m fine.” Ray says.

 “You sure?” I asked.

He nods. “I’ll call you later. Promise.”

I look at him for a second more, then I leave. The hell was happening? Why was Ray being so weird? And who are Dani, Ashley, and Raven? I need answers, ’cause all these questions are making my head hurt.

(Domi POV)

I went home, confused as ever.

“Yo, chick. Where you been?” Zee asks.

“Ray’s house. He left early, so I thought I’d check on him.” I said, sitting next to her the couch. She was watching “Basketball Wives”.

 “He cool?”

 I nod. I hope he was…

Zee and I chilled out and watched TV. Craig came home around 10.

“Where you been?” Zee and I asked.

“Huh? Oh…I chilled with Jake.” Craig says.

 Zee and I exchanged looks.

 “Really?” I asked.

 “Yep.” Craig says.

 “Okay.” Zee shrugs.

Craig nods, he tosses his phone on the couch, and goes into the kitchen.

We knew he was lying, Jake stopped by earlier with Cha. We all chilled out and played Uno. They just left…like 10 minutes ago.

“Why he lying?” Zee whispered to me.

 I shrug.

His phoned buzzed. Zee grabbed it.

“You a know a MiMi?” She asks, looking at me.

 I shake my head.

She looks at the phone. "Her text says “yeah, today was fun…we should totally do that again. And…I would love to meet your friends, they sound cool.”." Zee reads.

“Uhm…” I said. “Craig gotta an undercover girlfriend?” I asked, in a low voice.

 “Seems like it.” Zee says.

 “I wonder if she’s cute.” I said.

“Welp, if she’s not…that’s too bad.” Zee says.

We laughed. Then, we heard footsteps, Zee put Craig’s phone back as he walked into the living room. He grabbed, while eating a banana and holding a can of Sprite.

“See y’all in the morning.” He says to us, then heads down the hall to his room.

 Zee and I exchange glances.

 “I wonder when he’s gonna tell us…” I said.

“Hopefully soon…or I’ma have to tell him that we know.” Zee says.
