Monty Burke:Hogwarts Mystery

Monty's First Day

"My letter arrived! I'm so excited to study at Hogwarts School Of Witchry And Wizardry!" said Monty.
"The letter says i can find the books I need at Flourish and Blotts in Diagon Alley. Time to get started".
Monty heads over to Flourish and Blotts. While she walks passes monty looks around the place. Shes amazed of what her eyes layed on.She reacches over the door knob and opens the door . She sees thousands and thousands of books upon each and every shelf her eyes lead upon. She saw acouple of people sitting in sits and reading. Monty searched high and low for her books that she needed this year.She finds one of the three books called 'Book Of Spells'
"I can't wait to learn all of the charms" Monty says.
Then finds the second book called 'Fantastic Beasts'
"I know this book. It's brilliant!".
And the finally the last book called 'A History Of Magic'.
" I better grab the rest of the books". Monty grabs the rest of the books that she needs.
"All done!Now, what's next? Oh yes! My wand. Brilliant!" Monty said excited.
Monty heads to the entrance and heads out of Flourish and blotts book shop. Monty heads down from Flourish and Blotts to OllirvaNders. Monty opens the front entrance door and she sees draws upon draws filled with different wands. She walks up to the front counter where Mr.Ollivander is standing.
"Hello....Garrick Ollivander is my name. Here to receive your first wand,yes?"
"Yes Mr Ollirvander" monty said.
"I have just the thing, Applewood wand, dragon heartstring core,nine inches, rigi. Go on. Have a twirl" said Mr Ollivander. Monty looks nervous at Mr Ollivander then back at the wand. She gave it a twirl. She closed her eyes as she twirled. Then she opened them again then all asudden. Pieces of paper were flying around monty like a tornado. Monty was shocked. Then the tornado of paper stopped and created a mess over the shop.
"Sorry about that" she said.
"It's not your fault. The wand chooses the wizard or witch, and that is clearly not the wand for you. I recall your brother expoded my favourite inkpot when we tried his first wand." said Mr Ollivander.
"You knew my brother?" She said surprised.
"I remember every wand I've ever sold. His was maple wood,dragon heartstring core, ten inches"Mr Ollivander happily said.
"A fine wand. Shamed they snapped it in half when he was expelled" he said shamefully.
"I understand that he ran away from home after been expelled, and he has been missing ever since. That must have had a profound impact on you."Ollivander said.
"He loved us. He loved hogwarts. I just hope he's ok...."monty said Sadly.
"Hmm......sensitivity can be a great strength. I think i have the wand just for you...." Mr Ollivander said mysteriously. Mr Ollivander handed monty another wand. Monty look at Mr Ollivander and raised her arms and opened her hands as he placed them in her hands. Monty feels the wand and looks at it.
"Acacia wood, unicorn hair core,twelve inches,pliable." Said Mr Ollivander.
Monty looked nervous again and gave it one more try. She gave the wand a twirl and quickly closed her eyes. Then yellow-goldish dust started floating around monty. She opened her eyes and was amazed. She knew that the wand chosed her.
"Splendes!" Said Mr Ollivander happily.
"I'll be interested what see what path you choose."
Monty looked excited at Mr Ollivander and her wand. Monty walked out of Mr Ollivanders store.
She walked while looking and her new wand then she bumped into a random girl. She dropped her books as well as Monty's. They both picked up their books, wands and bags.The girl rumbs her head and says shockedly
"Wow! Is that an acacia wood wand!?!"
Monty rumbs her head aswell.
"......yes, how did you know!?! Said curious.
"My family's tree farm supplies wood for wands and brooms, so I'm something of an expert" says the girl.
"I've been reading Hogwarts:A History in anticipation of my first year, so I'm something of an expert of Hogwarts.I love reading and learning, especially about magic. I want to be the youngest professor to ever teach at Hogwarts. Aslo,staying inside and reading keeps me from outside and farming."the girl said.
The girl looked a bit sad at Monty.
"That, and fact i don't have any friends....."
Monty looked a little bit shocked then smile at her.
"We can be friends....."Monty said happily.
The girl look at Monty and said.
"You don't think I'm too nerdy and weird? People usually think im too nerd and weird"She said curious.
Monty smiled.
"People think im weird too. I'd rather be weird than normal" she said happily.
"That is so cool. My names Moxie Blackwood. What's your name" said Moxie.
"My name is Monty Burke"
Moxie looked surprised at Monty.
"Like Jacob Burke?"
".....Yes, he's my brother" said Monty.
"The same Jacob Burke who was expelled from Hogwarts for breaking the school rules in the
Search of the fabled 'Cursed Vaults?!" Said Moxie.
Monty looks surprised at Moxie and wants to know all of this info.
"How do you know all of this?" Said Monty.
"I almost know everything about Hogwarts! Besides, that was a big story in the Daily Prohet. Everyone at school will know" said Moxie.
"I know. They think im weird too." Monty said.
Moxie smiled at Monty and put her hand on Monty's Sholder.
"We can be weird together! Hey cani see your letter." Said Moxie.
Monty reaches in her pocket in her jumper to grab her letter. The pulls it out and hands it over to moxie. Moxie starts to read the letter.
