MY CONFESSION

For my old lover,

You were my best friend and everything that mattered to me. You made me feel, you made me feel heartbreak, and I thank you for that. Thank you for making me feel heartbreak, for making me cry, scream, numb, sad, and most of all broken. People will read this story and they will feel confusion and heartbreak and a great overwhelming sadness, as they read about the girl who fell in love with her best friend.

The girl who loved him so much that he knew, heck everyone knew, and yet he did not care. He used her, and he left her. Over and over.

I promised you that one day in a sense of too much pain, that I'm going to write a story about us. I'm going to write about you, about me, about them, and how we wanted to conquer our little world but instead you conquered my heart and now I need to write about you.

I need to write so I can get over you, because I have found another man who makes me feel, who makes me feel alive and although he lives miles away, we manage. But I can't seem to love him as much as I want to, because my heart still loves you.
