I sat on the couch as I waited for Max. My hair was wavy and I had natural looking make up done. The dresses fitted me perfectly. I had a silver necklace on with silver hoop earrings and I wore large turquoise heels.
There was a knock on the door and I almost jumped. I grabbed my phone and I headed out the door.
"Hey beautiful." Max hugged me and held my hand as we went down the elevator, "I have a surprise."
He lead me to a black motorbike that had two black helmets that rested on the seats.
"Ready?" He asked.
"Are you serious?" I scowled.
"Yes."
"Max you know I hate these." He held my hand as I climbed on the back. I put on the helmet and hope it wouldn't ruin my hair. I put my arms around his waist as he sped down the roads. The wind was soft against my legs, it pulled my hair back. The ride wasn't as bad as I thought it was. At least Max was a safe driver.
I could hear the doff doff of the music as we pulled up in the street of Zannie's house and the motorbike engine died down. Max put his arm around me as we headed towards the house. The street had been turned into a carpark with all the cars. The front door had been left wide open so we walked straight through. There were people everywhere.
"Rubi!" Candy yelled from the top of the staircase. She brushed pass people as she made her way to us. She made it look easy and graceful weaving in and out of clumps of people.
"Hey, I brought Max, we're back together."
"Oh shit really? Um I have to go call someone." She ran outside to get away from the loud music and screaming people.
"Let's go out the back." Max held my hand as we squeezed through the dancing bodies. There were fairy lights that hung everywhere outside.
"I'm going to help the boys with the BBQ, NATE!" Max waved towards the boys who stood around the BBQ and he kissed me on the cheek as he left.
I went over to the drink table and poured in a glass of punch.
"Hey," Niall's voice came from behind me which made me jump, almost spilling my drink.
"Niall, what are you doing here?" I asked.
"Candice invited me." He replied.
"You won't leave me alone will you?"
"I've been thinking of what to say to you, and even practicing." He smiled nervously.
"I'm not that scary to talk to Niall just say it."
"Well I wanted you to know that when I was with you I felt peaceful and safe, because I knew no matter what happened, nothing bad would happen, because I had you."
"Niall.." He stroked my hair, "Niall, I'm back with Max."
His hand dropped, "Max? The guy from the beach from the morning the other day?"
"Yes."
"Why him? Looked like he was going to hit you."
"Look Niall, Max is there for me, no matter how much you'll try to be, you can't be."
"I'm sorry I can't be here for you, I'm sorry I can't be there when you cry, or when you laugh, but I want to be there. I want to be with you. I haven't felt this way about someone before. You don't know how good it feels to tell someone things, facts or quicky stuff about yourself without them knowing a thing. Your not like the fans who know everything about me."
