Chapter 5. Into the forest.

Sweat was pouring down Sana’s face, as another her once pleasant dream was turning into a nightmare. She twisted and turned in her bed, her lungs desperately struggling for air.

Running…Running…Running….Trees, grass, everything was moving past her so quickly. She would never know that she could run this fast until now, when forced to flee with her lady, they ran further and further away from the place that was home.

Tripping, falling…getting up running falling….had to keep going. Lungs desperate for air…

She could hear the echo of her heartbeat in hear ears. Strength was draining fast but… she had to keep running. She lost track of where she was going, she even lost track of where her lady was. Her lady….oh no…where would she be?

Rada stopped instantly, the sudden stop made her trip over her own feet, she fell to the ground. Shaking her head she looked behind her. She had not been following her. Her lady had not come. But she was certain that she was somewhere around but…

She looked at the sky up desperately. It was so clear and beautiful, that had it not been for the pain in the chest that Rada felt, she could have been emerged. She would have lied down only to stare at the never ending ocean where the great Father Bithus was said to be separated from our godly mother Kheia that is our earth and is responsible for all life here. Khonos, the father of Bithus and who is our father time, separated both Kheia and Bithus because he thought of them as unsuited. Both are needed for us humans to exist but can never come close to each other, that was the punishment that Khonos gave to his son, for mixing with our lady Kheia.

When it rains in Dwor, it is said to be the tears of Bithus, as he desperately tries to call out to his only love Kheiah. His tears are needed for Kheiah to survive and give life to us, but that is the only way that they would ever come close.

Breathing was becoming difficult, as panic started to creep up on Rada. She would be held responsible for her lady, if she ever is to return. But then something hit her head from behind…it all blackened…

Sana opened her eyes weekly, as she lifted her head, she could feel pain emerging from her head and neck. That was perhaps the most realistic of dreams that she ever had. She felt like she had no rest at all and to her it felt like she just had been running, as she began panting slightly, as her lungs became desperate for air.

She wiped the sweat of her face and went downstairs to have a shower. As cold water ran down her smooth body, she relaxed more and despite the coldness of the water, she felt warm again. Senses were returning to her body and it felt hers again. It did not feel exhausted anymore. Today was a Friday, but the school had an inset day so it was closed.

Only after getting out of the shower, did she decide to check the time. It was only just after 7am, but she did not feel like sleeping longer, as she feared for more horrible dreams to come.

She decided to check her homework for biology. She read through her homework diary to see “motor neurone disease related to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis hand in to miss.Tibbie  Monday. Note you have to research the condition in specific detail- that is early symptoms and possible cures (if any)”

Ok so that was interesting. She typed it into the internet. In about a split second, her internet browser Collision came up with half a dozen searches. She read through the numerous searches, researching the condition in detail. She could not however find any famous people that had it. Ah well perhaps she could do that later

She knew it was the weekend and she had enough time to research it. Her phone rang all of a sudden.

“Hello ?” she answered

“ Sana?” asked a person on the other side of the line

“yes that’s me, who is it?” Sana asked nervously

“Linsa, Linsa Shefre.” The voice stated

“oh…” Sana tried not to sound confused

“You don’t know me, don’t worry. You called us over a week ago, I’m from Shefre Aid LTD, you applied here for a job.”

“oh, yes, sorry….I”

“Don’t worry dear. I gather your medical interested. I had a look in our department, and indeed we do have a place for you. It’s a simple job really, talking to patients, which hearing from your mother you can handle. Come to us at Brightwell Gardens, for an interview. Monday 5pm, will that be fine?”

“Yes, il be there…is there anything I need to bring?” Sana asked, writing the appointment in her planner

“Well all we need is for you to bring a bright smile. Nothing dear. Your application says everything we need to know. I have already texted you our full address. Anyways, see you Monday” she hanged up. In a few seconds, Sana received a text, with the address

Shefre Aid LTD- East Block

122 Brightwell Gardens

Brightwell lane

BW1 76H

Remember to ask for Linsa Sherfre MsC –Head of motor neurone disease research.

Sana thought for a moment. Why this was something that Miss Tibbie asked to research about! This would be perfect opportunity to do her biology homework.

ok so updating parallel is a lot easier than any other story because all I have to do is proofread it (I have written a lot of chapters beforehand). Anyways, like always, votes, comments are always welcome :)
