Chapter 1: No Blessings

Amy Rose and Sonic have been dating since they started high school. Everyone described them as a "Happy Couple" or as a "Perfect Couple" they were so happy and both hedgehogs were inseparable. Amy's parents were so proud of Amy for having someone to love and care for. Her parents always teased her by saying, "When is your boyfriend going to propose?" or "When are you guys going to move in together?" These silly comments made Amy laugh and made her think, "Will he ever have the courage to do so?" Amy's parents loved her so much and accepted Sonic, they had no issues with him. If they ever planned to do something its more than likely they would agree.

But unlike Sonic's parents, they never really approved him dating Amy. Especially his mother, she would always give Amy an unpleasant stare, like she wants to say something. Amy has no idea why Sonic's parents dislike her so much and neither does Sonic know. Sonic usually tells Amy to not worry about it because he will still love her no matter what.

They are now going to their final year in college. They are planning to move in together when they graduate out of college and when they have their careers.

Today, Amy and Sonic are both going on a date. First, they will go to a restaurant and then they will go to a nearby park to have some time with each other. Little does she know, Sonic is planning to propose to Amy. I hope she says yes, Sonic thinks.

Sonic was going to tell the news to his mother but then decided to tell his siblings, Manic and Sonia instead.

Manic and Sonia both came back from class. (Sonic was already home) He pulled both of them inside of his room. Both hedgehogs yelled, "Ow! What the heck?!" Sonic then quickly put his finger against his lip to signalize them to "be quiet." They both knew that Sonic was going to tell them something serious so they sat down quietly and listened to what Sonic was going to say.

Sonic: Guys, I have something to tell you...

Manic: Okay, what's up?

Sonia: Did you tell Mom or Dad first?

Sonic: I didn't. They won't like it because it involves Amy...

Manic: Don't tell me, she broke up with you?!

(Sonia Elbows Manic)

Manic: Ow! Okay, Sonic just say what you were going to say.

Sonic: I'm thinking of proposing to Amy... today.

Manic: Good on you bro! But have you ever thought of what Mom and Dad would say?

Sonic: Yeah, but I don't care. Once we get married, we will move out.

Sonia: Congratulations Sonic, I hope she says yes! I hope Mom and Dad approve it too.

Sonic: Thanks.

Manic & Sonia: Now go! You have a girl to propose to!

Amy came back from class and quickly went to her room to get ready for the date she has with Sonic. She brushed her quills, she put on a casual dress and sat down on the living room couch, waiting until Sonic comes to pick her up. Both of Amy's parents noticed that she was all dressed up.

They both smiled and Amy's dad asked, "Going out with the blue hedgehog?" Amy nodded back at him.

A few minutes later, Sonic rang the doorbell to Amy's house, she quickly answered the door and there was his loving boyfriend.
