Chapter 3 Thank You

"Come on, come meet my uncle" she said

I look towards the door and then back at her

"I'm staying with him for a little bit. My parents are away right now, so I'm staying here with him and the witch" she said, scrunching her nose at the word witch

"Witch?" I asked her, smiling

We now had started walking out of the room and down a pair of beautiful stairs

"My uncles...wife" she said, sticking her tongue out in disgust

"I'm guessing that you don't like her very much?" I asked her

She stopped walking and looked up at me, scrunching her nose again

"Ok, I get it" I said, as we both started walking again

"Emily, there you are" I heard a guy say from behind me

I slowly turned around to find the most beautiful man I had ever laid eyes on

It seemed as though everything around me stopped as I looked into his gorgeous hazel green eyes

"You're awake? How do you feel?" he asked, smiling at me

"I-I'm okay" I said to him

"I would have taken you home, but I didn't exactly know where you lived" he smiled at me, showing me his pearly white teeth

"Thank you, thank you so much for last night. If it wasn't for you.....thank you" I didn't want to finish my sentence

"There's no need to thank me, I did what anyone else would do" he said, smiling sadly at me

"I'm not so sure about that, but still, thank you" I repeated

"Your welcome. I'm James Valintine by the way" he said, extending his hand to me

"I'm Olivia, but please call me Liv" I said, shaking his hand

"Very well Liv, would you like some breakfast?" he asked me, still holding into my hand

"I should probably get home" I told him, smiling at him

"Not without eating anything, don't you know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day?" Emily asked, crossing her arms in front of her chest

I couldn't help but laugh

"Yes I've heard that before, but I've never been much of a breakfast girl" I said to her, getting down on my knees

I groaned a little, trying to keep my balance

"Please" she whined, hugging me

James chuckled above me

"It's really hard to say no to you" I said, trying to get back up, but stumbled back

James came up from in front of me, wrapping his arms around me

His hands clamped around my back, which did hurt, but I said nothing

Our faces were so close together, but the door opened and slammed shut

"Are you alright?" He asked

All I did was nod

"James" I heard a high pitched voice call out

"Oh no" Emily whispered, grabbing a hold of my leg

James set me back on my feet properly, letting go of me and standing back

"Honey" a young woman  called out

In front of me stood a pretty blonde with bright green eyes
