Have you heard about Sukippuropugaru, or Skip Rope Girl? It's an urban legend from Japan. It has been spreading amongst young children and some adults. The full legend is detailed below:

"There used to be a little girl who was alone. She would stand on the sidewalk in front of her house and watch the other children in the afternoon. See, she didn't have any friends, so that was all she could do.

But she wasn't sad. Because she could still play jump rope all by herself. And while she played, she could still watch.

And as she listened to their laughter and yelling and screaming, Sukippuropugaru tripped.

And fell into the middle of the street.

And now, she isn't alone.

Now, if you are walking home late at night, you might come across a little girl who's dressed in a torn white dress. Her sleeves might also be fluttering. That is because Sukippuropugaru doesn't have any arms. There will only be a long, red skip rope in their place. And she can't stand without any legs, so all she will do is hop in place.

Sukippuropugaru will stare at you. She won't scream or move closer or even say a single word to you. She won't chase after you if you run.

She will just hop and cry."
