Easy Button

What if life had an easy button?

A button you could press to make things...well easy?

What if this button made finding love easy?

Finding a job easy?

What if this easy button could make it easy to find and make money?

What if this easy button could erase the pain?

You don't exactly get a restart but you don't feel the pain, sorrow, or depression you felt before.

What if it made arguments...easy?

What if...this easy button came with a cost?

Say you press that button...and you find love...is it true love or just...easier to love?

Is that job you wanted worth it because you enjoy it...or because it was easily obtained?

The money you earned....do you feel accomplished or...just rich?

That pain you felt is easier to deal with.... but are you living...or just surviving?

The sorrow you felt that you wanted to be easier to deal with....do you feel alive?

The depression you wanted desperately to be rid of.... are you happy now? Or is it false sense of ecstasy?

That argument you didn't want to have.....Did you stop a problem....or just sweep it under the rug?

If life was meant to have an easy way out...wouldn't we all be the same? Rich with a false sense of happiness. The pain that we feel, it may be horrible but it's a learning experience. We learn, we adapt, we evolve because of pain. Depression is not something I wish on anyone, but without it would any of us really find out how strong we are? Money doesn't correlate to happiness, well it might for a brief amount of time but what's the point in being rich if you have no real sense of accomplishment to accompany it? Finding love is meant to be hard, you're meant to make mistakes and get heart broken, it's all part of the learning process. The process that molds you into the person you're meant to be, readies you for that one true love. An easy button wouldn't make your life...better just easier and is it worth it to have a life that's easy...if you're not happy?
