Piya was twirling around as a shower of snowflakes fell on top of her. She lived life as if she had nothing else to lose. Abhay walked towards Piya and Piya stopped twirling hearing Abhay's footsteps.

"Angel, are you up already?" Piya asked turning toward where Abhay's footstep was coming from. Abhay walked toward Piya as Piya continued smiling. Piya called Abhay her angel. The angel that her Madhu di sent her. Abhay went along with it if that made Piya happy then that will make his Madhu happy. Who could have thought because of that one promise Abhay would be living in isolation away from all his fame.
It was only a month ago that he had met Piya at Misha and Kabir's wedding reception. At that moment unknowingly Abhay followed Piya's... no Madhu's voice to Piya. Abhay still felt he was guided to Piya because of Madhu and due to Madhu he will forever take care of Piya. However, Mother Candas and Misha didn't allow Piya to go with Abhay. Both of them blame Abhay for Madhu's death and Abhay blamed himself. Instead, Abhay decided to stay at a cottage near the orphanage, that way he can look after Piya. As promised to be allowed to be near Piya, he still hasn't told Piya about Madhu's death. Abhay stared at Piya as she played in the snow around her. That's when his Madhu ran up to him in a red sare then twirled away.

"Abhay," Piya called as she felt a sudden silence around her. Where was her angel? She called out to Abhay again. But Abhay was so lost trying to reach his Madhu that he bumped against Piya. Piya was about to fall backward, but before she could fall Abhay wrapped his arms around Piya and grabbed her. Piya could feel Abhay's breath just a few inches away from her lips. Abhay slowly releases Piya.
