this is a compilation of poems written while i grieved the loss of kim jonghyun, whose beautiful voice comforted me when i felt the loneliest, whose music helped me getting through hard times, whose smile lighted up my darkest days, and whose words inspired me and gave me the motivation i needed to keep on going and become a better person. these poems were (and are still being) written throughout my healing journey. to this day, i haven't completely overcome it yet, but i've healed enough to share these with you. these are extremely personal and i poured every single bit of my heart and soul into them, therefore, i'd appreciate if you didn't steal anything. please, respect me and jonghyun.

i'm sorry your pain was embraced in silence. i'm sorry you found this life a living hell. i'm sorry this world was too heavy, too much of a burden to carry. and i'm sorry it failed you. i'm sorry this world failed you, jonghyun. you didn't just do well. you did amazing. you did wonderful. you did perfect. a light like yours can't ever go out. although i can't see you, every time i look at the sky, i know you're there. it's time for you to rest. sleep tight, my angel.
