we ran some more errands and got back home at 3. we walked inside the house seeing everyone running around trying to get stuff done like a bunch of little ants.

Olivia and Monse walked towards me. They both wore tight bodycon dresses & strappy heels. Oliva grabbed ahold of my hand and dragged me into my room with Monse following.

"Ta-da!" Monse exclaimed as she closed the door behind us.

laid out in front of me was a beautiful maroon highlow dress with a lace off the shoulder top & a pair of maroon pumps.

"What do you think?" Olivia asked biting her lower lip. "We thought it'd look perfect on you"

Olivia and i kinda have a weird relationship. Ruby's madly in love with her and she has feelings for him. but she tries her best to not get in the way.

"I love it!" i exclaimed hugging them both.

The girls helped me get dressed and then finally it was time for the party. Everyone was outside, the music was playing, family and friends where rolling in, food & drinks were flying from table to table, there was fairy lights draping from the roof to the center tree, the decorations were amazing.

i begin to walk out and all eyes were on me. my stomach was turning and my palms were sweaty. then the crowd began to roar. i had a smile going from ear to ear. the music and socializing continued as i walked over to the side.

i made my way over to my friends. "Ouuu there's the woman of the hour!" Cesar said putting his arm around my neck, pulling me in and kissing my cheek repeatedly. Cesar and i have always been really close especially since both our older brothers are in the same gang and unfortunately we're both in that exact gang as well.

i giggled as he let go of me and made my way to Jamal.

"Happy Birthday Y/N." he said with a huge smile. i tightly hugged him rocking side to side for a moment. i stepped back and realized that all three of the guys wore the exact same thing. A white button up long sleeve with black pants, maroon shoes & maroon suspenders.

"Look at you guys! Looking all cute stuff." i said boosting their confidence.

"Well what can i can say, we make it work." Jamal responded making all of them pose in a ridiculous way.

Monse, Olivia and I bursted our laughing. after, i walked away and began going around greeting everyone else.

as i was giving hugs and kisses to relatives, a familiar tune began to play. (play the song now!!)

i look over to the dance floor and see Ruby walking towards me with the most confident smug look on his face. He held his hand out for me to take it.

"Ruben Martinez what are you doing?" i asked with the biggest smile.

"I am asking the most beautiful girl here to dance. so Y/N Y/L/N, would you like to dance?"

I looked at his hand contemplating weather or not i should take it. finally i gave in and placed my hand in his. he lead me to the middle of the dance floor.
