Who Weeps?

I pick up my phone and watch the screen come alive,

"CALLING THE MARYLAND SHOOTER 'LOVESICK' IS HARMFUL" it blinks at me,

I weep with the rest of the world for the victims then scroll,

"CAN WE TELL IF YOUR CRUSH REALLY LIKES YOU?" It says,

What about the people without clean or running water I ask,

"KYLIE AND TRAVIS ARE ALL ABOUT THOSE DATE NIGHTS" it replies,

Who weeps?

Ok but what about the 10 year old who got married to her rapist I wonder,

"7 WAYS TO STOP BEING JEALOUS IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP" it pushes,

Who weeps?

How about the people stuck in war-zones around the world I cry,

"DO YOU KNOW MEGHAN MARKLE'S REAL NAME?" It screams,

Who weeps?

What about the starving mistreated children I voice out with tears falling,

"TOP 10 GARBAGE JOKES" it finishes,

And I break,

I weep for the kids,

For the people,

For the women,

For the colored,

For the LGBQT+,

For the unrepresented,

But other than me... who weeps?

So I'm just really upset on how things that don't even matter get so much publicity while you have to actually look to find anything regarding actual human lives and this is my response. It's not edited so sorry not sorry about that, but I hope you liked it and got informed.
