How they met?

It was the first day of the college fest. All my friends had a stall.I just came to visit it.It was my friend Anmol I bumped into.We were just hanging out. Anmol suddenly struck with something and he remembered that he has not introduced me with his best friend Raj.
"Hey,meet Raj,he's in our class."
Raj shaked his hand and the first words coming out of my mouth was "Who are you?"with the giggle.
I said,"Sorry,its impolite to do that."
"It's ok.Nevermind."
"Sorry,actually I know Anmol and all his friends for all of semester but I never met you."
"No,no,it's completely fine! I know you. Manish from your department told how cry baby you are when you didn't win the competition."
"He won it so he's bragging."I smiled."I felt bad but now I am fine."
"What do you think about this college?" I smile awkwardly.I thought how can I criticize it in front of a student of this college itself.
"It's fine.I'm slowly adjusting."
I knew I was lying.
"Do you like it? I hate the study college."
I was embarrassed.
"Really?I also hate it at large. I wanted to join the NPS college(its fictional)."
"Oh no! Really?I also wanted to join NPS. All my friends are at NPS but  destiny landed me here."
"I had the qualification to join there but here I am."
"Dude!we are similar!"
"Hahaha! I think so too."
We both laughed.
Suddenly  Rahul,the guy who had crush on me,seeing that I am completely into him he tried several times to break conversation between us but he couldn't.
It was time to leave. It was late so Raj told me to drop me in his car along with Anmol and Rahul.I was embarrassed thinking that I accepted the offer of a guy I met two-and-half-hours ago.
Just after coming home I texted:
"Hi!"
"Hello!"
" Thanks for dropping me. I'll pay you back."
"No dude!don't worry!Chill!"
"so I would not pay back monetarily but as a favor!"
"Hahaha!Sure dude!"
Then the conversation continued with great pace.
"Where were you for so long I think we know each other from childhood!"
"Hahaha.it must be!"

In the college also, we used to meet and stopped for a while and started talking.All our friends were suddenly doubtful that there's something between us.For a matter of fact,I could know the girl who hates me,had a crush on him.I thought of dropping the idea of talking to him but this guy makes me feel happy.
There was an art exhibition a month later. I was trying to ignore him but partially I was making a chance to stare at him but it didn't happen.
Afterwards, my friend Khusi told he was staring at you and wants to say something.I passed by him,ignoring eye contact.He didn't say anything.

He call me in his birthday party but I didn't go due to my test. So I gifted him with a beautiful sketch of 'a guy holding guitar'.Few days later,when Khushi asked "which gift you liked the most?"He was posing as a guitarist but  suddenly he remembered something and told Manish's gift was awesome. Capricorns are always like that.

Raj has plans on my birthdays still I pursued him to come to my party.At the party he was staring at me which I didn't know but all my friends noticed. He told Khusi to leave the place beside me so that he could sit there.He was blushing when Khushi asked how am I looking.
His friends were creeps.My friend Prajakta had his ex died in the recent past.They were digging this up.Raj was deeply hurt by this and apologize.I was impressed by his sensitivity.

All my friends told me that it's clear that Raj likes you.Khushi was clearly the matchmaker between us. While saying bye,Khushi said to me,"Why don't you propose?"I follow the myth:"Girls don't propose.It makes them look desperate and no guy likes desperate."Still Khushi's words kept ringing in my head.

I texted-"You know,my friends thought we were couples.Isn't it funny?"
. “How foolish your friends can be?What did they see between us?I don't even know.”
So now its clear.
