"Good, you better keep that promise... I'm watching you," My mother said.
My mom doesn't trust me as much as she did before because of what happened a couple years ago.
A man who was drinking a bit too much decided to drink and drive.
He went off the highway onto a side road, he started swerving wildly.
I just happened to be walking across the road when this drunk driver came crashing around the corner.
It frightened me so much, I was stuck where I was, frozen.
He started moving closer to me by the minute.
Before he could hit me, someone pushed mo onto the other side of the street, out of harm's way.
Before I could even get up the stranger that pushed me was gone.
Few seconds after I was pushed, the drunk man hit a tree.
Some say I was lucky, but I say it was a miracle.
After the man hit the tree I called 9-1-1 and told them what happened.
They helped me off of the ground when they came and asked me a few questions, other than a few scratches I was fine.
