Introduction

In 1966; boys all over the UK were first introduced to one of the most beloved British toys in existence, this was Action Man; a licensed figure based on Hasbro's GI Joe created by British company Palitoy. However; Action Man was different from his American counterpart, as the figure could be customised with a variety different uniforms and outfits; meaning that he could a solider, a spaceman or a footballer. Action Man also came with a number of vehicles and accessories; all of these will be looked at in this book.
