"No! Ugh! Do you seriously not know what I'm talking about?" She seemed afraid and frustrated.

"I honestly have no idea what you're talking about."

"But you're a, you know,"

"No I don't know." My coworker was really confusing me.

"You're a demon." She said barely above a whisper. I stood there paralyzed. No one was supposed to know about this. It was supposed to be in my past. I was given a second chance to live my life normally.

"What?" I tried my best to act like I thought she was crazy.

"Don't play dumb." Her confidence obviously rebounding.

"I'm not. I'm not a demon." I honestly said.

"She said you were!" She whisper-yelled.

"Who said I was?" I asked already knowing the answer.

"You know who." She responded weakly.

"What does she want?" Fear flowed through my veins.

"Them."

"Mona?"

"And Niall." She looked at the floor.

"Why?"

"I don't know! I don't even know why I'm in this mess. She said she'd help me if I helped her and all I've done is help, help, help and she hasn't done shit!" She spit the words as if they were poison. I knew they weren't directed at me but they still made me take a step back.

"I'm not a demon. At least not anymore. I can't help you whatever you need." I told her.

"Do you think I like being a demon?" She asked. I wasn't sure if it was rhetorical or not so I just stayed silent.

"Well I don't! That's why I needed her help to get a second chance like you!" She pointed at me.

"What do you want me to do?" I asked.

"Find out about Mona and Niall." She ordered.

"But I like her." I muttered.

"Then it'll be easier to get close to her."

"I'm not going to help." I stood my ground.

"Tell that to her."

Mona's POV

I didn't know what to wear. I had a ton of clothes but not one seemed good enough. I shuffled around my room looking for something to wear. I finally found a teal dress that stopped just above the knees. It was pretty without being too fancy.

I put it on and spun around in front of my mirror. It looked nice. I grabbed a pair of wedges and put them on. It was half an hour before Tony was supposed to be picking me up. He didn't tell me where we were going and I was anxious and excited.

This was the first date that I went on that wasn't a blind date. I actually wanted to go on this date. I waited patiently by my front door while I waited for Tony. I checked my phone every few minutes or so. Ten minutes before 8'o clock I realized I hadn't done anything with my hair. I ran to my bathroom and sprayed my hair with volumizing spray. I took one last look in the mirror and rushed downstairs. I checked my phone and saw that it was 3 minutes until 8. I said bye to my parents and then sat in the dining room right next to the front door.

It seemed like forever until the doorbell rang. I shot up from my chair when it did. I walked slowly up to the door to not seem like I was waiting right by the door.

I unlocked the door and opened it. When I did, the first thing I saw were flowers. Then I saw Tony.

"Sorry I'm late. I um stopped to get you these." He handed me the flowers and I smiled.

"Thank you, Tony." I took the flowers and gestured for him to come inside. He followed me into the kitchen where I pulled a vase out from under the sink.

"These are beautiful." I said as I filled the vase with water. The flowers were colorful and fragrant.

"I'm glad you like them." Tony was so sweet.

Once I put the flowers in the vase, we left. Tony had a red Audi R8. I wondered if his parents were rich.

"So where are we going?" I asked when we got into his car.

"It's a surprise." He answered. I looked over at him and saw that he seemed nervous.
