1. The Doctor and the Bee
Said the Bee to the Doctor:
"I've been sneezing every day
As I fly collecting nectar
From the flowerz and the hay."
"You're allergical to pollenz,"
Said the Doctor to the Bee,
"All your sneezingz are rezulting
From the flowerz, do you see?
Az you fly collecting nectar
To make honey taste so sweet
Dusty pollenz all get caught
Upon your fuzzy furry feet.
Sniff hibiscus, thistle, dandelion
Chryzanthemum or roze
And your proboscis will become
Inflamed or worse, God only knowz!
For a bee to be allergical
Iz rare. I've heard of none
But I'm signing you off work
Until the Summer seazon'z done."
2. The Bee and her Family
"You're what?" said her family
When the Bee told them the news.
(They didn't care for modern doctors
With their modern doctor views.)
"Just who'll collect your nectar
While your lying there in bed
Complaining of the Sneezingz
With your eyez all itchy red?"
"I'm allergical to pollenz
I'm not skiving just for fun.
It's best if I avoid the Flowerz
Till the summer seazon'z done."
"If you will not be a worker bee
We still have to survive.
You must sign up az a soldier
For the Glory of the Hive!"
"But I've never been a fighter,"
Said the Bee: "I cannot fight.
At the first sight of a Hornet,
I'm the first bee to take flight."
3. The General and the Bee
"If you want to be a soldier,"
Said the giant General Bee,
"You must explain your reazonz,
For you're small, that's plain to see.
"I can't collect the nectar
Due to itchy streaming eyez.
My family sayz that I must fight
Despite my obvious lack of size."
"Have you ever seen a Hornet swarm?"
The General asked the Bee.
"Imagine ninety monster-wasps
