It's been 2 years since I've been back here, I didn't want to come back knowing what was in store for me, but I missed my family. It was time to come back here and face all of my problems.

"249 from San Diego to Davenport now landing." As I get off the plane I start to remember what i'm about to walk into, I haven't seen my family in almost 2 years as I was staying with my Aunt Sophie in San Diego. While I was thinking i didn't notice my mom yelling my name until I look up. "Caroline, finally you notice me. I thought you forgot all about me while you were gone." my mom said jokingly. "Nope just zoned out for a minute." I said as i gave her a hug. "Oh okay, well your brother and sister don't know you're back yet," she said as we got in the car to go home. "Okay well i can just surprise them when we get home."
On our way home she was asking all these questions about how California was and how Sophie was before we made it home while I answered some of her questions. When we made it home my dad was at work while my brother and sister were in school. I have 2 siblings my younger brother Daniel is two years younger than me at the age of 15 while my sister Adaline is 10. "Come on i'll help you get your bags," mom said "The rest of your stuff that was shipped should arrive later on today or tomorrow." As we carried my things inside I noticed the only thing different is the living room. "We rearranged it a few months after you left, felt like we needed to you know?" said a voice behind me. When I turn around I notice it's my brother Daniel, "When did you get here." he asked running to give me a hug. "Just now, I was gonna tell you but i figured surprising you would be better," I laughed as i hugged him back. "Well i see you've lost weight and you also stopped dying your hair the brownish black color, its now back blonde." he said as he was noticing all of my changes. "Is that your brother i hear? He should be at school, it's only 12 o' clock." my mom yelled from the kitchen. Daniel looked at me with fear in his eyes while i laughed walked to the kitchen, him following me to the kitchen. "Hi, mom." he said while looking slightly nervous. "I thought i told you no more skipping school Daniel Adler." "Okay, so i'm gonna go unpack." i said while backing out of the kitchen seeing the way my mom looked at my brother. When I was walking up the stairs i could hear my mom start to yell at Daniel stating this is his 5th time skipping school this year. While i was packing up stairs i didn't notice what time it was until i heard a patter of feet running up the stairs. While I smile in amusement I turn around to notice my door being thrown open only to see my little sister Adaline standing there. She stopped stared at me like she wasn't believing her eyes. "Caroline," she yelled "I missed you." as she launched her self into my arms. "Hi Adaline, I missed you too." "So have you talked to Rose lately?" Addy asked which is a nickname i gave her. "No she doesn't know i'm back yet," I replied "I'm hoping i can call her tomorrow as soon as i get settled back in to my life here or Monday at school, so how have you been?" "I'm good i made a new friend he just moved here and so we've been the bestest friends." I smiled at the way she said bestest. "Do you wanna come play dolls with me?" she asked "Sure only for a little bit." While i was in there i didn't notice how much the time flew while playing dolls, or how much energy it took. Looking at the clock i noticed it was already almost 8 at night. "Okay Addy it's time for bath then bed." mom said as she walked in the room. Addy didn't give up a fight cause if i remember she loves taking baths. As my mom carried her into the bathroom where i could hear water running I walked back in my room so i could take a quick shower to rinse off all the grime from the day and then go to sleep to get ready for the next day.
