Ch 1

Lexi's POV

I quietly made my way through the woods, not wanting to attract any walkers my way. I've been in my own for 2 years ever since my group got attacked. My name is Lexi and I am 14 years old.

As I walked I heard a loud gun shot run through the air. I stopped in my track for a minute, than kept walking. I thought about why there was a gun shot, I didn't see very many walkers near I thought.

I was soon brought out of my thoughts when some man pinned me to the tree. He had a wide grin "such a pretty little girl u are". I struggled against his hard grip "LET ME GO" I yelled.

I finally had the strength to push him away, I quickly ran off but accidentally ran into someone. "Sorry" I muttered as I dusted myself off.

I heard loud footsteps running my way "shit" I grumbled to myself. "U LITTLE SHIT" the man yelled at me. I glared at him "you should have seen it comin, asshole" I growled back.

"Who the hell are you" the man I ran into finally spoke. He sounded familiar, I feel like I know him from somewhere. "NON OF UR FUCKIN BUSINESS" he shouted. "Actually it is, cause u just came runnin at me and started yellin" I spoke angrily.

The man who I had accidentally ran into looked my way and asked me if I was alright and what that man tried to do to me. "He's just one of Those stupid pervs". I looked back up at him and got a good look at him. He had a beard with gray patches and his hair was slicked back. He was wearing a leather jacket just like mine, and had a baseball bat with barbed wire around it.

"Hello? U ok kid" he asked. "Huh? O-oh yeah, sorry" I must have been staring. "Did he hurt u" he spoke once again. "N-no but he tried" I glared at the angry man.

The man raise his gun at me, I tried to grab mine from a distance from when I fell. But I was too late the man had shot, it hit me in he arm. I groaned in pain "THAT SON OF A BITCH" I yelled. I crawled my way to my gun and shot that fucker in the head, hearing his dead body fall to the ground with a thud.

"What's your name" the kind man asked. "L-Lexi" I stuttered. He looked at me in shock, "Negan, right" I smiled. "It's really you" he held back tear.

I nodded "let me help u up" he held his hand out. I gladly took it, "so hows your life been" he asked. "The usual, killing walkers and sometimes bad people". "Oh, well you should come back to the sanctuary with me, it will kinda be like old times" he asked. I nodded "I've missed u a lot" I replied.

"I've missed u too, kid" he smiled kindly.
