"Watch it, knucklehead!" Henry Bowers yelled at a kid in my class. I watched and so did all the other kids but nobody dared to speak up,
"Henry, could you step outside for a moment?" my teach Mr. Worells said. Henry glared at him and walked out, slamming the door behind him.
"Now class, where were we?" he continued,
a familiar hand shot up.
"We were talking about different types of poverty, sir." the boy said.
The boy was Stanley Uris, a tall boy with a head full of dirty blonde curls and gorgeous brown eyes. He was really smart but he never noticed me, I was just there.
"Good good, Stanley! Now Y/N what are the two different types of poverty?"
Shit. I wasn't listening! I can't get sent out there with Bowers!
"ehm-'' I stopped.
"Relative and Absolute." A voice muttered,
"Relative and Absolute?" I say,
"Took you a while but better late than never!" Mr. Worells said enthusiastically.
I looked over and noticed the mysterious muttering voice belonged to Stanley,
"Hey, thanks for helping me." i say with a small smile.
"No bother, anytime." he said returning that smile.
The bell rang but was drowned out by everyones running footsteps.
I walked out of class and met up with Beverly,
"Hey, Bev!"
"Hey Y/N, how was modern studies with Stan the man." She said winking.
"He helped me the answer when I wasn't paying attention!"
"Woah, big step." Bev said laughing.
"Anyways, I know you haven't met the losers yet-'' Bev started,
"The what?" I asked confused.
"Aw we call ourselves the losers you know? anyway you haven't met them so I was wondering why don't you come swimming down the quarry with us?"
"Sure! I'd love to!"
"Great, we're meeting after school so just wait at the doors for me and we'll walk together." Bev said smiling,
"okay." i smiled.
-After classes-
I walked out the doors and waited for Beverly,
she came out with a small boy, he was wearing listening to something. I mouthed to Bev 'who is that?'.
"This is Ben, he's one of the losers. He's in my social class." she said loud enough for him to stop listening to what he was listening to.
"Yeah, I'm Ben Hanscolm." he smiled.
"I'm Y/N L/N, what you listening to?" I asked,
"New kids on the block." He replied and Bev giggled,
"Well we better grab our bikes and get going, otherwise the others will get annoyed." Bev spoke up.
"Yeah, you're right" i replied,
We all jumped on our bikes and started to ride to the quarry. I was excited to meet the others.

Sorry this chapter was short. :)
