hi anyone that reads this, i just have one slightly important announcement to make. (oops yes i am alive it's ok)

im giving up on making graphics.

truth be told, i am just really busy. i find that i often have no motivation or inspiration to make anything new or exciting in photoshop and seeing others come up with extremely cute or just overwhelmingly pleasing graphics makes me feel even more unmotivated because i always feel inferior and begin to wonder if i could ever edit like that. i lack in pretty much everything. i enjoy making graphics, i do, but after two or three years the hype dies down a little and since everyone is into graphic making, i feel like im just floating amongst everyone else.

im probably taking this way too seriously but this whole anime graphic making thing was really a way to channel my creativity and mash it with something that has made my day, everyday (anime). it was fun for a while, i met a lot of friends through graphic societies and competitions, but (not saying this in a condescending or braggadocios way, i am not big-headed about this) it gets boring when you enter a contest and know you're going to win or lose just by going through the entries.

i still have a lot to learn in terms of using photoshop, and i won't completely stop making graphics as i still want to learn how to be decent at realistic manip. i don't think i will be posting those graphics BUT you never know. (: right now, i think im just going to stop making graphics for a bit.

so anyways, now that we have everything out, i just want to say thank you to those who liked my graphics and constantly made me smile with your encouraging words because honestly you guys are the ones that made me want to keep editing. bless y'all!
