Room 202

The Plan

       I woke up with a jolt realizing I hadn't yet booked my hotel. Hi I'm Amelia James, I work with the paranormal investigation company called ghost-run.inc.  I jump out of bed and run to my computer and search up "Haunted hotels in NYC." I see a hotel called "The Travel Base" I read the description and reviews and I immediately booked it. In reviews people were mentioning that room 202 is very haunted. I decide to book room 202 as I am interested in the paranormal. I go back to bed feeling satisfied and worry-free.

A few hours later I wake up feeling excited. "Yes! Vacation day." I shout out loud, laughing to myself because I had no one else in my house to hear me yell that. I put my oatmeal in a thermos and ran out the door. I don't travel much so when I do it's a mess, and I wasn't very prepared to wake up at 7:00 am.

I arrive at the airport at 8:15 am and go through customs, my flight starts boarding at 9:00 am, so I'm pretty late but I make it through customs. At 9:15 am I finally get to board, my seat was way at the front so I got called to board the plane last. At 10:00 am we are finally taking off, my flight is 3 hours long so I decide to turn on some music and fall asleep.

I wake up to the sound of the pilot over the loud speaker saying "Everyone we are about to experience some turbulence so please stays seated and buckled in, thank you." I check the time and it says 12:30 pm. Only 30 minutes left in the flight. I think to myself. I turn on my music and drift off.

I wake up again to hear "Thank you everyone for flying with inter air please have a great day and start exiting from the front." I quickly sit up and grab my bag from the over head container and I walk out of the plane. " Thank you!" I say to the flight attendants standing at the door.
