Trislyn pushes me and I stumble in the hallway.
Fucking bitch.
The hallway is packed, as always. Freshman surround me along with annoying sophomores. I turn to Trislyn, who is laughing hysterically. I try to get around the freshman but most of them won't fucking move.
I swerve around the crowd of Junior girls gossiping and reach Trislyn. I slightly push her and continue walking to my second period class on the third floor.
It has been nearly three months into the second semester and I am still having a hard time trying to talk to my crush. I switched my class schedule and I got an extra class with him. I'd try to describe him, but he is a human mutt. He claims he is Irish, Mexican, Filipino, White, and I don't even what else he is. His eyes are a dark shade of brown, black straight hair, and tall. Taller than me, at least. He is a runner and skinny. I sit behind him and admire the back of his head. His hair is so pretty.
I try not to eavesdrop on what he talks about, but I can't help it. I want to learn more about him, but I don't know how. I'm super shy and will mostly likely stumble with my words. It's hard enough sitting this near him.
No matter how many times I tell myself I'm going to talk to him, I don't.
"Go talk to him, he's right there!" Trislyn whispers to me as we walk in to class.
He's sitting in his seat quietly. He's playing with his pencil. I admire how his tan skin looks with the bright lights shining on his skin. His eyes are glued to his pencil, he's probably day dreaming. I continue to stare creepily and I already feel Trislyn judging me.
I turn to Trislyn and smile sarcastically. Like if I'm going to do it just because she told me to.
Once we walk in, he looks up and makes eye contact with me. Nope, this did not just happen. I try to get myself to think otherwise. He was probably looking at the door to see if any one of his friends had walked in. Besides, he wouldn't look at me. He's so...him. It's Jeffrey. Fucking Jeffery Eric Hanford.
My teacher, Ms. O'Sullivan finally shuts up about a book we are supposed to be reading (which I haven't, of course) and I doze off. All I can think about is how I made a bet with a friend already that I would talk to him soon and already promised myself that I would ask him out to Sadie's. The thing is, how. How would I even dare to ask him? What if someone else does? I already found out a popular girl has a crush on him. She is so pretty. A girl like her would automatically win him over.
If I knew what type of girl Jefferey would be into, that would make things so much easier. He probably isn't even interested. Some girl in my first period has a huge crush on him as well, but she actually talks to him. A lot, by the way. I heard she wants to ask him out for Sadie's also. Looks like I should not even try anymore...
The bell rings and one our classmates brings in the food for Breakfast In Class. I call Trislyn over to sit next to me and I begin to show her interviews of EXO I found on YouTube.
"Sehun looks so cute!" I shout pointing to him.
Jefferey's head turns and looks at me. I can feel my face go read by the second as his lips partly open.
"Are you listening to KPOP?" His lips form a smile.
Trislyn quickly responds, "So?"
Jefferey chuckles and moves his chair closer to my desk. "Show me a song, I want to see how cringe they really are."
