Is the cipher in a chapter? Highlight the text and choose "share". When the popup of the social media you selected shows up (For me only Facebook shows up) copy the desired text and exit the popup. (Don't post the quote) then, go online to an appropriate decoder and paste in the text.

Is the cipher in a comment? You should be able to copy and paste it without needing to share it. (Remember, this chapter is going by the assumption you're on a computer)

HOW TO RECOGNIZE THE CIPHER FORMAT
Does the text look like you slammed your hand on the keyboard and pressed enter? Does it have two = signs at the end? It may be Base64.

Does the text look like it's an actual sentence but letters swapped? Does it still have apostrophes and symbols placed? It may be Caesar Cipher.
i.e QEFP FP ZXBPXO ZFMEBO 3
NOTE: You may decode some Caesar Cipher, but just get gibberish. This is due to this little option

In my ciphers, I usually set this setting to 3, 13, or 17. Sometimes other numbers, in which case I will leave clues as to which number it is.
Does the text look like a bunch of dots, dashes, and slashes? It may be morse code
