The Fallen Colony

Chapter 1

War was something that you have to see to understand. It was all for one, each Colony fighting for their Diamond. I fought alongside Pink Diamond, and our soldiers were EXTREMELY well trained. From the looks of it, we were winning. War cries, screams of terror and pain, were the only thing that filled the silence on the battle field.

The war was non-stop. Everyone was fighting 24/7. We had all joined as one at this point, Black Diamond had arrived. Black was... Interesting. He had a different vision of how the Colonies should be. We teamed up with White, Yellow, and Blue Diamonds to try and defeat Black.

Black left a path of destruction. The field that was once blooming with flowers, green with plants, was now stained a permident red with blood and bodies. Lots of soldiers were shattered, or dead as common terms say. I scanned the bloody field, my eyes landing on a certain dragon. I rushed over, facing her. "Sky, you're going to be a great Diamond..." The Diamond muttered, laying her head down. Once her eyes closed, I knew what I had to do.

"There is just NO way that YOU can be the next Pink Diamond!" Yellow shouted, throwing her hands in the air. "As if a dragon was a bad idea, lets try a dog!" She said with heavy sarcasm. I was in court, yeah. Normally, a Diamond's Pearl/second in line would come here, Pearl's were meant to be the next Diamond's of their Colony. "He wasn't even MADE properly, his gem isn't even a real gemstone, just a circle with a design." Yellow snapped. I rested my tail over my paws. "And what makes you think I can't do it?" I retorted, standing from my seat. "The list os to long." White butted in. I gave her a glare, turning back to Yellow. "Her Colony was basically wiped out by Black, and Pink was one of the best Diamonds of our time!" Yellow exclaimed. "You're weak leader didn't give you a Colony to lead!" Yellow continued, White laughing slightly. "Fine, go ahead, laugh!" I shouted. "I WILL prove you wrong, I swear! When I get a Colony started up, I'll defeat Black Diamond!" I yelled, turning too the exit. "For decades, we've suffered Black's wraith, I will put an end to it!" I finished, stomping out of the court room.

I sat in the main room of Pink HQ, our own little planet. Most of our soldiers are in the infirmary, resting from the war. We didn't win, Black was still out there. "Yo, Sky, aren't you Diamond now?" I heard a voice from across the room, Tanzanite. Taz and I came from the same Soldier Plant, where we were made. "Yeah, guess so.." I replied, getting up from my spot to greet him. Both of us weren't meant to be like we are, nobody from our Plant was. All of us were, deformed in some way.. For Tanzanite, he was a dragon. "Tanzanite, how'd you like to be my new second in command?" I asked, Tanzanite jumping with joy. "YES PLEA- I mean." He cut himself off. "Yes please, Sir." He finished, giving me a solute. "You don't have to be extremely royal." I smirked.

"Are you sure?" Tanzanite asked for the hundredth time. "Yes, I am sure." I replied, grabbing my communicator. "Tanzanite, I'm trusting YOU with my Colony, communicator if you need me." I stated, walking out to the ship hanger of the HQ. My plan? Go to Earth. I'd always been vaccinated by it, I was going to need soldiers somewhere! Earth had the most Soldier Plants than any other planet, I with my Colony, repected Earth more than any other Diamond.

I wanted to grow my Colony on Earth.
