The Crystal of Dreams

Shining in bright red it floats in Borg Tower.
Save from all the bad people, ready to grant a wish to one person only.
After the wish is granted it will fall apart. And the wish will only last for two days.

The Crystal of Dreams.

The Ninja wonder who should wish for something, but no one seems to have any idea what even to wish for.

But Zane does.
He thinks days and days about it, wondering whether it's worth it.

As they meet again with Borg, he decides on telling them about his idea.

"I have settled on a wish.." he says, raising his gaze up on Cyrus Borg.
The inventor smiles happily, while his team gasps in confusement and surprise. He didn't even tell anyone that he had an idea...
It was a messy turmoil, while Borg and Zane wait for them to calm down, Borg leans forward and asks politely: "May you tell us?"

"Yes. I thought about.. being human."

"What?!" they all exclaim in unison. Eyes widden, mouth open.

"Zane, are you sure? What if it's going to be a shock?" Cole asks really concerned. Borg looks at Zane in amazement.

"I have settled on that wish." Zane states, looking at Cole determined, and his glance wandering along the team, analysing their reactions.

Jay looks worried, yet there's excitement.
Kais face paints confusement and worry, while Nya looks as if she is deep in thought. Lloyd stares at Zane, uncertain about what to think or say.

"I am not even sure if it would work.." Borg then says, his gaze laid upon the crystal.

"Maybe I should do it somwhere no one else can get harmed, if something happens.."
"Zane, we don't want anything to happen to you.." Jay argues, to which Zane answers determined; "But I want to be human. Just for two days. Things will happen, maybe it will hurt. I don't know. No one does. But I have settled with it."

Jay nods, lowering his gaze a little ashamed.

"Please, let me lead you towards a save room." Borg smiles at Zane, taking the crystal with them, leading the, yet still Nindroid, to a special room.

"This room can hold back the impact of a bomb this big.." Borg explains, showing the size of a two head big bomb.
"Do you think I will explode, Mister Borg?" Zane asks, as he is handed the crystal.
His blue eyes contrast the red crystal heavily and he looks up less determined.
"No, I'd not say so. That would make no sense." Borg answers, rolling out of the room: "Good luck!", he slams the door close.

The room is washed over by the red light and closing his eyes he takes in this moment.
It may be his last after all.

"I wish... to be human." he speaks softly and begins to feels the crystal lift out of his hands. He won't dare to open his eyes, instead he holds them closed even tighter.
He can't tell what's happening, but it slightly feels as if there was zero gravity. Waddling his legs that assumption turns out to be correct and he bites his lip.

A loud 'swoosh' runs trough him, he hears the crystal crack and lands on cutting crystal pieces on the floor.
There's air in his lungs. He can feel it. Air. He's breathing.

"Ow..!" He exclaims moving his hands, opening his eyes finally.
There's no blue panels, no data lying around in his sight. It's weird.

He looks down at his hands. His eyes widden, more pain floods him as he sees what's coming from his fingers.
Blood. Real blood.

A little overhelmed he stands up, picks the small crystal pieces from his fingers and tries to calm his thoughts. His heart. It was beating, fast.
He's breathing. That's all what matters to him right now. He feels the air. He's automatically breathing. Fascinating.

Surprised and ignoring his slightly bleeding hands he lays his hands on his chest, careful not to stain his shirt, feeling his heart beat. He takes it in, smiling softly. Yet his hands do hurt a lot...

He feels what it feels like to actually be alive. No. He is alive. He's no robot.

Reaching out for the door he grabs the knop, again his eyes widden. It's cold.
So that's what he himself feels like?
Lost in thought he pushes open the door and hears the other talk in the next room.

"We should go look for him.." he hears Cole say and soon they stand in the doorway to the room Zane is in.

"Whoa.." Kai can only gasp, while Jay runs towards Zane, fluffing the others hair: "It's so soft!" he laughs. Nya crosses her arms with a slight smile, watching the scene, Cole besides her. Lloyd is unsure whether to join Kai and Jay or stay with Nya and Cole. But he just stays with Nya and Cole then.
Kai closes up: "What happened to your hands?"
"I fell into the crystals shards." he explains, backing away from Jays furious touching and playing, with a sly smile. Jays hands were soft. His touches tickled..
"Are you ticklish?" Jay asks, Zane raises an eyebrow. Jay then smirks, tickling Zane, laughing.

Overhelmed by that weird feeling Zane gasps and laughs, without really knowing why and what that feeling exactly is. He would rather not feel it.

Kai watches and then pulls Jay away: "Let him touch stuff, don't touch him all the time!" adding: "He must be overwhelmed by senses right now."

Zane sighs in relief and runs trough his own hair. That's soft? He looks at Jay and runs trough Jays hair, pets it and does the same to Kai.
"My hair..!" Kai exclaims pouting and trying to fix it desperately.

So that's soft.. He thinks, touching Jays cheeks. That's soft too... runs trough his mind as Cole, Nya and Lloyd join them as well.
Borg rolls in excitedly: "Amazing! It worked!" His eyes sparkle in awe as he scans Zane up and down.

"I really want to go outside..." Zane states out of the blue. He wants to feel the air brush his skin and hair. He wants to breathe in the fresh air. He wants to actually live. Because he can only do so for two days.
Yet, he misses his ability to look up information at any time. He misses his data.

"Alright then! Let's go outside!" Lloyd commands.

Borg smiles and commands an assistant Nindroid to tidy up the 'wish-room', while the Ninja go towards the elevator ready to help their friend experience being human, at full power.
