BEEP, BEEP. The fire alarm went off waking me up from a dream I've always felt could be real but never was true. I got up quickly and threw on my robe and ran downstairs. I saw my mother trying to cook breakfast, which she couldn't cook to save her life. I opened all the windows in the house and tried to clear away the smoke, near the alarm. I felt the smoke get thicker and the fire continued to spread on more things. Before it could get any worse, i ran up, back to my bedroom and grabbed a suitcase I pack since things in my household weren't so good and my phone and charger. I ran outside along with my mother and called the firefighters.

My neighbours came to comfort me as i cried seeing my house burn, Where am i gonna go now? "Look what you did!" I screamed at my mother "Are you happy now? Where are we gonna go, better yet i don't care where yo ass goes, i don't even wanna see ya face." i told her walking off. "Do you wanna know why that fire started and how it was suppose to go down?" She mumbled loud enough for me to hear. I stood still but didn't turn my head towards her. She started laughing "You was meant to burn along with everything in the house!" I felt my blood boil. I ran towards my mum and started to beat her up, something I haven't had the guts to do when i could. My whole neighbourhood was outside watching and some were trying to take me off my mama.

I finally stop beating the shit out of her and took my stuff and left, not knowing where I'm going. My only thought was just to call my brother to see if he can come and get me. I don't know why I didn't go I stay with my brother when I had the chance. Before trying to call my brother I called my bestfriend Tonia. "Yo wassup girl" she yelled through the phone. "Girl, you wouldn't believe my mama tried to kill me by burning our house and tried to leave me in it but she failed." "Damn what you gone do now?" She sound like she was about to cry. "Its cool I'm gonna call up my brother Nathaniel and see if he can come get me outta here." "Ight boo I'm here if you need anything." "Thanks T. Laters."

I tried to reach out to my brother but his number went straight to voicemail, great. I called him one more time but still the same thing. FUCK. Where do I go now. I just took my things and walked to where ever. How can I let my life get to this stage. I went behind a bush to get changed into a black nike jumper with black leggings and some white huarache shoes. After I got changed, I went off to MacDonald's to get some food cause I was hella hungry.

I walked into MacDonald's and ordered my food to the table I was sitting at. When my food came, I immediately started to demolish it like there was no tomorrow. Three boy walked into MacD's and stood in the line to order. They looked so familiar and i feel like i have met and spoken to them before. One of them turned their head to my direction, isn't that CJ (Nathaniel's neighbourhood friend)? He started making his way towards me and I just instantly got up and ran and hugged him. "Damn girl you tryna kill me?" He chuckled and I let go off him. "Sorry, I just haven't seen you in a minute cause you stopped coming 'round." i said making a face at him,

"I've been busy lately that's why and I've been rolling 'round with your brother." "Can you take me to him please, cause i really need to talk to him" "Sure lemme just get my food and we can head out, you want more food cause knowing you, you love food." I nodded my head and waited on him. When he came back we got into his white Mercedes s500 coupe. I put my suitcase in the trunk and hopped in after the 2 other boy got in the back.

CJ looked at me weirdly as we started driving off. "so what's with the suitcase, running from mama i see." I sighed "It's not even that its- its-" i just broke down and started crying. CJ reached over and rubbed my back "It's okay baby, we'll talk about it later on with yo brother." I just nodded my head, I shook off the fact that he called me baby and just closed my eyes and drifted off. I felt someone shake my arm lightly "Vee we here." I got out the car and headed towards a nice, tall building. We headed to the reception and CJ started talking to her. I tapped him on his shoulder "Are we going up or nah?" "Oh sorry, let's go, see ya later." I felt the girl staring a hole into me but i just shrugged it off cause i wasn't here for her. We went up in the elevator and CJ had some special type of key. So my brother living the lavish life now, damn. The elevator opened to the most beautiful penthouse ever.
