"Good night, Tampa, I love you!" The crowd roars as the lights go down on the stage, and I disappear from view under the stage.

"That was...incredible. Possibly your best show ever." My manager says, passing me a water bottle as we walk back to my dressing room.

"You said that last night."

"You get better every night. By the end of tour, you'll have reached singing goddess level."

I laugh. "Shut up." I say, twisting open the door to my dressing room. I strip off my tight blue sparkly dress, and wipe off the caked on makeup off my face. Once dressed in my pajamas, I look in the mirror and sigh. Without being all made up, I look so...ugh. The dark shadows under my brown eyes nearly mimic a raccoon, and a small mountain of acne builds up on my cheek. My dark brown hair hangs lifelessly around my face. With another disappointing look in the mirror, I gather all my stuff and head towards the tour bus.

"Good, you're on, we almost left without you." My manager says, taking my bag.

"You can't leave without your star."

"True, I guess. Remember, tomorrow we're shooting the music video for the new single."

"I know, you've only reminded me like 500 times."

"I just wanted to make sure you knew. Get some sleep, Drey."

"Night." I say, and climb into my bunk on the bus. As the bus rocks back and forth, I put in my headphones and let the bus lull me to sleep.

-The next day-

I sat on my bed, staring absently at the show on the tv screen. My eyes kept darting from the screen to my phone, anxiously waiting for it to buzz. Smith said he would text me when he got here. By "he" I mean Jacob Hutchins, the guy playing my love interest in the music video we were shooting today. I had never met him, but I was already kind of in love with him. He had these piercing green eyes and wispy golden locks of hair, which made me melt just looking at them on google images. The real him must be even more beautiful, if possible. He's an actor, fresh off a Nickelodeon series, and a teen heartthrob for obvious reasons. Anyway, waiting for Smith's text was agonizing. I checked my phone, only to be met with a blank screen. Sighing, I turned my attention back to the tv show.

Not even a minute later, my phone buzzed. It was the text I was anxiously waiting for from Smith.

He's here, we're downstairs in the lobby.

I quickly turned off the tv, grabbed my purse, and practically sprinted to the elevator. I felt my heart racing while the elevator traveled down the floors, partly because I was out of breath, and partly because I was nervous. I took a deep breath to calm myself down. The elevator stopped, and the doors opened. I walked around the lobby until I saw my manager.

"Hey." I say once I see my manager. He smiles at me.

"That was quick." He says, as I walk towards him. Besides him, a tall blonde guy stands up.

"Audrey, this is Jacob." My manager says, gesturing towards the blonde besides him. My eyes drift up to meet Jacob's. He stands a few inches above me, his eyes even more emerald and piercing in real life.

"Nice to meet you." Jacob says, with a smile. My heart literally skips a beat, my breath momentarily hitched in my throat.

"You too." I manage to breathe out, shaking his outstretched hand with a smile on my face.

" Alright, there's a few things I need the two of you to do before we leave the hotel to shoot, and we need to get it done quickly, so lets go." Smith says as he walks to the elevator. We fall in line behind him, and in the elevator I stand across from Jacob. It's a silent ride up to the sixth floor, Smith on his phone, and Jacob and I staring at the ground. I try to steal glimpses at him, taking in his black vans and black jeans, gray tshirt, and his thin, muscular build. He slips his hands in his jean pockets, and when I look up at him, our eyes briefly meet. I look down at the floor and he suddenly becomes fascinated in the elevator door. Once the elevator doors open, we file off, walking towards Smith's room.

"Here." Smith says, handing me a mini polaroid camera once we're in the room. "I need you guys to take some photos together, for one of the scenes for the video. You guys know how to work this?"

"I do." Jacob says.

"Good. Don't take too long, we're on a tight schedule." Smith shoos us away back to my room. Once were there, I sit down on the couch and Jacob follows, leaving a considerable amount of distance between us. I scoot closer towards him.

"We can't be in the photo together if we're far from each other." I say

"Right, sorry." Jacob says, scooting closer to me. I flip the polaroid camera so it's facing towards us, and snap a picture, both of us getting blinded by the flash.

"That's really bright."

"No kidding." Jacob says, rubbing his eyes. We manage to turn the flash off, and take the rest of the pictures.

"Those are nice." I say, pointing to two of the polaroids where we're both smiling. Ten Polaroids are scattered across the coffee table, each capturing us being silly, serious, and smiling.

"I think they all came out good." Jacob's eyes scan the pictures, and I take this chance to look at his side profile. He has a strong jawline, perfectly straight nose, and long lashes I'd love to have. His golden blonde hair barely cover the tips of his ears. How can someone be so beautiful?

"Do you think that will be enough?" I say turning my attention back to the polaroids.

"I guess. He never said how many we needed to take." He turns his head towards me, and I find myself momentarily breathless as we make eye contact. I feel my cheeks turn hot, and look down starting to gather the pictures and silently pray that I'm not blushing.

"Let's um-let's take these to him." I quickly gather up the pictures and walk towards the door as Jacob follows behind.

"This should be enough." Smith says, looking through the polaroids. He pulls out one of us both smiling. I try to read his face as he looks at the picture, but I can't. "Very photogenic people. Good job. Now, get whatever other stuff you'll need and we'll get in the car and go over to the shoot." I excuse myself as I go back to my hotel room to grab my purse, and come back.

"Are you both ready?" Smith asks before we walk out the room.

" Yes." Jacob and I say simultaneously. I look over at him and give him a small smile, and he does the same. I feel my heart flutter.

"Alright, let's go." Smith says, and we follow him out to the car.
