Jesse's POV

The first thing I felt was pain. Oh, it was the worst pain ever imaginable - like all my bones turned into lava and now were burning down my entire body. I hissed in pain and opened my eyes, only to be faced with complete darkness. Was I dead?

However, as the time went by, the pain slowly disappeared, leaving only dizziness. I groaned and sit up, then tried to look around once again. No use - the only thing I could see was the darkest darkness I've ever seen.
- Uh... Hello? - I asked, not even hoping to hear an answer. And, of course, I was right - my voice echoed through the space, unheard.

I got on my feet and started walking somewhere, but the next second I bumped into an invisible wall.
- What in the... - I grumped, rubbing my sore forehead.
Then I tried to touch the wall, and, to my surprise, my fingers actually met something cold and hard to break.

- No, no, no!
A wild guess shot my brain, as I started following the invisible wall. Unlucky, it surrounded me, it was above my head and below my feet, so I basically was trapped in the invisible cage. That wasn't normal at all!

Suddenly a bright light blinded me for a second. When I finally managed to open my eyes, I saw a blue, cloudless sky and the sun. The next second everything below my cage was covered under the green, fresh grass. I gasped - the transformations were so amazing! Then the ground started shaking, and the next thing I saw were high mountains somwhere far away and a bottomless sea near my cage. I whistled with amaze - after all, you don't see things like this every day.

Despite the view seemed to be wonderful, I noticed it was pretty primitive. I only saw dirt, grass, water and the sky, but couldn't find any flowers, trees, animals - like it was a completely blank world!

- Not so bad, eh?
A familiar voice reached my ears and I turned around, just to see Romeo. He was flying above the ground, looking at it proudly.
- And nothing reminds of two more worlds below. - He looked like he was going to clap his hands. - Perfect!
- What have you done? - I whispered. All the memories returned to me. The fight. The lost. The deal. The lie.

Petra. I thought about her red hair, about her friendly smile, about how great at fighting she is. And all those memories filled my heart with hatred towards another creature with red hair.
- What have you done to them?! - I shouted, slamming my fists into the invisible wall.

The Admin was really disappointed I interrupted his thoughts, considering how evil his smirk was.
- Oh, nothing. - He didn't even bother to look at me. - Just covered their entire world with bedrock, but nothing more.
- You... You are monster!
Romeo grinned and suddenly flew closer to me, making me flinch. He looked me right into the eye, but I was capable of not turning back. Frankly, I had nothing to lose.

- Now, listen here, Jesse. - He ordered, and, much to my surprise, I obeyed. - I may be a monster, but you are a prisoner, my pet. I can do whatever I want to do with you, and you will be obedient, because otherways... You'll never see that red-head you like.

I gulped, shaking in fear. I wasn't scared for me, no, not at all! I was scared for Petra. Did this psycopath abduct her too?
- So, is that clear? - Evil red eyes were shining with hatred and happiness.
Did I have a choice? It was my life against the life of Petra. So I nodded. I couldn't let that maniac do something - anything, I couldn't let him hurt her.
- Yes. - I whispered silently.

- Sorry, what was that? - Romeo's smile was wicked. - I couldn't hear you!
- Y... Yes. - I said louder and turned away from that creature claimed to be a person.
- Good. - He smirked. - Then be a good boy and wait for me here, will you? I've got more important things to do now.

With these words he disappeared, teleporting away. I couldn't fight my tears any more, so I sat on the cold floor in my cage and buried my head in my palms, crying silently. My future, my hopes to see friends - everything was taken away by this monster. And now... Now everybody I cared about was under the level of unbreakable bedrock, trapped in the unstoppable darkness. Because I failed them. Because I screwed up. Because I wasn't a hero they needed me to be.

Petra's POV
I don't know how long I was laying on the cold ground, too empty to get up. Suddenly the life started to feel so blank, so grey. I used to have deppresions before, but neither one of them were so strong. Jack tried to calm me down, but nothing worked. I gave up hope.

Slowly my instincts kicked in, and I stood up. It was dark and cold, but I felt like my skin turned into stone, and I couldn't feel a thing.
- Oh, it's so good to see you awake! - I heard a familiar voice and turned around.

Jack came out from the woods, carrying some wood to make fire. I couldn't cleary see his eyes, but his voice proved that he'd been crying. But at least he had powers to work.

He made a small campfire and forced me to sit down. I didn't fight back, really. I just didn't care.
- There you are! - Another voice reached my ears, and three people ran to us.

I didn't even turn my head, but it was clear who these people were - Ivor, Lukas and Radar. They seemed to be scared, Radar couldn't say a word - he always was really nervous.
- Wh....But...How...- He tried to ask something, but nothing worked out.
- Are you two alright? - Lukas came closer and knelt down in front of me, looking me in the eye. - What happend up there?

- We lost. - I said without emotions. - Romeo took Jesse.
- No! - All three of the newcomers gasped.
- But he... He... - Radar was freaking out.
- That's bad. - Ivor stated, like it wasn't obvious.

For a couple of moments we were sitting in silence, but then Lukas sighed:
- What... What do we do now?
- We can't do a thing. - I answered angrily. - If we do anything to save Jesse, Romeo will just kill him!
- Look, Petra, I know how it hurts. - Jack murmured. - But we can't lose hope now.
- Why not? - I cried. - We have lost! Jesse's gone! We are trapped between two levels of bedrock! We...

I couldn't say anything else, because started crying again. My saulty tears made my armor to go wet, but it was okay.

- Oh, come on! - Ivor growled and, much to my surprise, it helped. - Petra, you may be a girl, but you are also a warrior. A really good one! So will you please stop crying your heart out and help us solve this problem?!

It actually made me feel much better. I weeped away my tears and looked at everybody else. They were upset, somebody was in one step from crying too. And they needed me to be strong. I had to be strong for them. For myself.

For Jesse.
