bakugou has gained respect for izuku.

why does everyone ignore his character development?! while he's
still rude and violent (but that's just part of him) he
has gained tolerance for people he cares about.

yes, he cares about deku.

katsuki feels emotions too. his number one idol is helping his
rival / childhood friend. he wants to be in deku's place.

bakugou wants to be stronger, and he wants to prove to not only
society, but to himself, that he's not a villain.

bakugou has come far.
he was jealous that someone who did nothing to become a hero
was suddenly deemed better than him.
