Chapter 1

Jade's P.O.V.
"Corbyn and I lived right across from each other and we always were playing buddies.

"Come on Corbyn, let's go play."
"Okay! I'm coming."

Corbyn and I raced to our secret little place in my backyard woods. I hid from Corbyn. Corbyn said"Bup? Where did you go?" I snuck out behind the tree Corbyn's back was turned away from the tree so I snuck behind him and hugged him. Corbyn quickly turned around and hugged me. A couple hours after that our moms called us back home. We hurried holding each other's hand.

I smiled and said"I love you buddy." Corbyn smiled said"I love you too bup." After that we were heading into our houses.

A few years later I saw Corbyn on his footstep to his house crying it was later in the day I hurried outside. I ran to Corbyn's side. I hugged him and said"Corbyn what's wrong buddy?" Corbyn said"my family we are moving to Los Angeles." My heart broke but, I had to be strong. I said"I'll still be able to see you. Maybe it's a better thing for you to move. Maybe it can be a new start and you can enjoy better weather there. I'll come visit. " Corbyn said"you want me to leave?" I said"no no Corbyn I don't want you to leave." Corbyn said"you do don't you." I said"no of course not Corbyn. I was just saying it could be a good thing instead of staying here in gloomy weather and all the drama, the bullying you face a school, I wants what's best for you, and all the bad memories here. " Corbyn said"whatever."
After that he got up and headed inside. My heart broke even more.

I got up and headed back home. When I got into my room I started writing a letter. Around 12:30 am I finished it. Tears were nonstop falling. My mom came in and hugged me and said"shh honey. Get some rest. You can talk to Corbyn tomorrow."  I nodded and went to sleep still crying.

Later around like 2:30am Corbyn came over My mom let him in and told him he should talk to me because I've been crying so much and he nodded, headed to my room and saw that I was up late and I was exhausted. He noticed the note on the desk he started reading and realized it was directed to him. He kept reading and was a little shocked to see all my feelings for him but smiled He put the note down and saw me cuddling with a blanket and a stuffed animal he got me. He smiled and sat on the edge Of the bed near me and rubbed my back. I stirred a little in my sleep and then Corbyn said"boop." I said"corbyn??" Corbyn said"hi love, look I'm sorry for getting mad earlier. I was just stressing out and just angry because I don't want to leave you. You've been the best thing for me." I said"it's fine."'

After that he cuddled me until we fell asleep the next morning I woke up before him and got ready and then hurried and put the letter in an envelope and putting it in his pocket. After that I gave him a little kiss on the head and headed out. A little while later I headed back home he was gone. I frowned a little and cleaned up."
