LYCAN:
Onslaught
The night is still, the moon is full
Threatened by the Lycan's howl
Folks first thought it was but myth,
But that sound made them stumble at their feet.

The Captain of great men cried!
"Whoever slay the Devil's beast,
Man of valor to his last blood tried,
Shall triumph o'er the nobles' feast."
____________________________
A crowd of hundred men
By the order of Prince Lucius sent.
They held their torch in darkness' den.
Among the trees and the night forest's scent
____________________________
A Brobdingnagian silhouette two times a bear can bear
Stood as a man covering the light the full moon cast.
It never lurked, it knew no fear.
A battle approaches fast.
____________________________
The core of the fray
Among seasoned warriors' hoard
Yet the source of dismay
Of the spear and of the sword.
____________________________
Its structure as adamant as diamond
Its skin as hard as steel.
Onslaught hath begun,
But it belonged to the solitary beast.
____________________________
His relentless speed that hath no flaw
Men's Herculean agility seemed slow
No! It's as if they are restrained with fetters!
The gods knew what matters:
Mighty men enroll! Mighty men shall fall!
Fourscore souls have gone,
Into places yet unknown.
