It was 6:10 pm when Olivia started to get ready for her mothers cermonial party. She just finished writing her letter to Amy twelve minutes ago. She now had to get all "pretty up" for her mothers party. She had just took a warm shower that was very relaxing. Everything wasn't stressful for her anymore. Whenever she took a warm shower, all her worries disappear in the mositure of the heated shower. Even though she was still in the bathroom getting dried off and brushing her long damp blonde hair, she was reilved that most of her stress and worries were gone. It had been a while since she felt reileved. It felt good to Olivia, she would never be this happy like she is right now. She used to be all sad and angery but now she was happy with herself. Which was the greatest thing she has had in four years. She knew that Any was back in her life, so she had no more worries. But she did have other worries to deal with, which was school and her mothers cermional party. She didn't want to go to a cermional party on a saturday night. All she wanted to do is go relax and watch some tv for once. But she couldn't. She was being draged to this party by her father and mother. Plus she hated these kind of parties, because most of these parties had rich families with spolied rich kids. Olivia might be spoiled and rich but she never used that to show off. On the other hand, rich kids that attend these parties are snotty, bratty kids. Which she wasn't. She never would be snotty or bratty to anyone. Sure she was rich, but she never used that for an advantage against other people. She respected people, She was shy and quiet. She was different from the other rich kids. Other kids that were rich hated different kind of rich kids. In Olivias opinion, she could careless what they think. All she knew is that this saturday night was going to be dreadful. She sighed and looked at the small mirrior in front of her. She saw a zit on her cheek. She hated zits when she had to go somewhere. She sighed and rolled her eyes. She graped her robe and placed it on. She tied her pink fluffy belt that went with the robe and walked out of her bathroom and aheaded back to her bedroom.
When she entered her room, she gently closed the door and sat at her desk. She looked at her Version Weirless LG flip phone that was colored pink. She graped her phone and noticed she had two text messages. She pressed "Ok." so she could see who texted her. One text message was from a girl named Christina Moore. Christina and Olivia have been best friends ever since seventh grade. They mostly did everything together. Christina wasn't in cheerleading or in AP class like Olivia, but she had her talents. Christina was a singer and a song writer. Whever she had a concert Olivia would go see it with her other friends. But she lately couldn't go to a concert a week ago, which made Christina angery at her. Olivia hasn't talked to her in a week, but it seemed to Olivia that she was forgiven. Olivia pressed "Open" and read her text message. Which said: "Hey gurl! whats up? bored here, text me back please." She chuckled. " Your always bored Christy." She muttered. She then pressed "Reply" and started to text back. Which said: " Hey Christy, sorry for texting late just got out of the shower. Sorry for not going to your concert. Oh I'm getting ready for a stupid party. The party is for my mom and her career." She then pressed "Sent." and looked at the second text message. Which said: " Hey Olivia! Whatsup?" Olivia smiled. It was Ken White Olivias true best buddy. He always made her laugh and smiled. She pressed "Reply" and said " Yo! going to a party soon. you?" After that she pressed sent. She grined devilshly with excitement. That was her entertainment of the day.
"Sorry for the delay Olivia." Sean said walking in the room with Olivias new dress that was expensive. She turned around and smiled. " Thank you Sean, you can lay it on my bed." She said kindly. He nodded. He layed the dress on her bed carefully and looked at Olivia. " Your mother expects you ready at seven." He informed her. She smiled and then frowned. " I'll be ready by then, don't worry.'' She told him. Sean nodded and started to walk out of her room. But he stoped and looked at Olivia. He smiled. " Please try and have fun Olivia. don't be serious all the time, its not healthy for you at your young age.'' He said with encouragement. She looked and him and nodded. " Thank you for the encouragement Sean. Please leave." She ordered. Sean bowed at the exit and left closing the door.
Olivia sighed. " Stupid party." She muttered. She got up from her seat and walked to bed. She stared at the long pink dress that was bright and sparkly. Shr frowned. She hated to look fancy and rich. She did like being rich but she hated to show it off in-front of other people that don't have it. Plus she hated being rich sometimes because people who are rich aren't nice sometimes. People act like your frienb but there really not your friend, all they want is your money. She should know because that happen to her father when she was five years old. She made sure to stay on guard with her rich friends, so they won't take anything from her. She wouldn't let it happen to her. If she lost everything that she had, she would be lost and wouldn't know what to do with herself.
After five minues of debating how the dress suited her, she finally decided to get dressed for the party. She was now dressed in her selve-less pink dress, pink heart earrings and pink high heels. Olivia actually like her new dress that her parnets picked out. The dress was hot pink and it had real small diamonds on it. Plus the dress was all away done hiding her high heels. She loved dresses that hid her legs from people. She didn't really like showing her body off at parties. It wasn't her thing. She always dressed formal and beautilful at parties that need her presence. She also decided to wear pink blush, pink eyeshadow, pink sparkly lipgloss and black eyeliner. She didn't like makeup that much but she had no choice. If she didn't put it on, her mother would put it on for her. Olivia would rather do it because she like her way of how much amkeup is on. She knew too well that her mother would put to much makeup on her face. She didn't want a zit covered face, She wanted her beautilful pale tannish skin. She looked at the big rectangle mirror on her bedroom wall on the left side of her closet. She smiled. She actaually looked good. Everything was done except for her hair. Usually she would styled her hair for a party, but didn't want to do anything to her hair. For one night she would let her ahir be normal and stay the way it is. Olivia liked her hair not styled. Her hair was down and straight. She sighed and placed a lilly flower clip on the right side of her hair. She would let her hair be down for this party.
Olivia looked at the mirror for a long time. She felt as if something might go wrong at this cermional party. Would she need to act like a rich kid? Or will she meet a guy that understands her? These questions floated in her mind as she graped her pink pruse and placed her cell phone inside it. She placed the strap on her shoulder and walked out of the room hoping this night will be painless as possiable and praying nothing bad will happen at the party.
